This is a small but amazing opera company that puts on operas near the gourmet ghetto in berkeley. The cons are that the set and costumes are pretty minimal. But the pros are numerous. The singing is fantastic. All the people that attend opera to show off their fancy clothes and expensive what nots are gone. The people who are there love opera. The venue is small and you feel as if you are in the mix instead of 2 stories away in some nosebleed section. I saw la boehme with my friend last weekend and it was so beautiful. They are showing Tosca next, I can’t wait to see it.
