This exquisite shoe box of a shop in Claremont is a feast for the eyes. The owner Lonnie Lee has impeccable taste in all areas of art and design, and the «objets d’art» on display are testament to her sophisticated eye. From the revolving exhibits of paintings and sculpture, to the collection of timeless yet thoroughly modern jewelry and home accessories, Vessel offers a variety of unique products at a range of price points. The store is worth making a special trip for.

I HEART VESSEL!!!
I was a model in the alice in wonderland shoot and the artwork that Lonnie displays and sells in the stores is magical. The jewelry is pretty and the stationary and other asorted trinkets are just darling. Sadly, it can be a bit on the expensive side, but what you get in return are fabulous works of art. :D

I bought a handmade necklace for my girl here. The owner is super nice and took her time showing me all the merchandise. Gift wrapping was exquisite almost to excess.

Yes, I somehow find all of the llittle boutiques and shops that you spend all of your hard earned money on things that noone ever needs. But this place is a pretty good find. The owner is really nice and she has great taste in art (she does artist showings each month or so) has beautiful asian furnishings (NOT like all of the cheap copies of stuff that is out there), modern porttery, one of a kind jewelry and bags and a much more. however she has very limited hours, so check before you go, as she closes at 3:00 on some days and promptly at 5 on others… but for a gift for yourself or someone else who appreciated elegance– it’s perfect.
