Whitney Johnson, DDS

Dr, Whitney Johnson is AWESOME!!! You cannot go wrong with this dentist. Very honest, fair prices, and is there for you in an emergency. I was initially referred to him by another MD after my jaw exploded in pain and swelling: he saw me the next day. I was in a tight spot as I recently gradated from Cal and was waiting six months to go into grad school and I had no dental insurance at the time. Dr. Johnson, was sensitive to this issue and helped me develop various options to meet my dental needs that fell inline with my tight budget. Great dental office! He is also very gentle and not painful –which is great because I am scarred of dentist in general.
He also bleeds Blue and Gold (have to see the office to understand).

I’m going to echo Tim’s earlier review. I have been going to this office since I was a teenager, I started seeing Whitney’s dad back then and have continued on with Whitney. His staff is great, with Pat doing a fantasitc job as a hygenist and the front desk folks being very friendly. While the equipment is all up to date, the office has kind of an old timey feel — in a good way, everyone knows who you are and the service is very personal.
Also it doesn’t hurt that Whtney bleeds the blue and gold, as we always have some great conversations about the Bears.

I grew up with Whitney and saw his dad as a dentist until he retired. He’s also the sports medicine go-​to guy at Cal for athletes who need dental work or have emergencies… I recently had to call Whitney when I cracked a tooth and he saw me the same day and fixed it. Nice guy, very up to date on all the new stuff you can get done, and, of course, a Cal guy… what else do you need… Go Bears!
