Goldy’s Landscaping

I rarely review small businesses and services, but GG and the Goldy’s Landscaping crew exceeded my expectations, so I want to share my testimony. I travel a lot for work, so yard maintence slips on my priority list. My backyard needed some major clean-​up and a refresh. I originally called Four Season, but they were very rude, wouldn’t come out to look at my house or hear my needs unless I started a $ 5k retainer. They asked me to sign-​up for a retainer after being on the phone with them for less than :30 seconds, without even hearing my needs — bad business. GG came out to my house the day I called for an estimate and we collaborated on the backyard scenic. Throughtout the process, GG was fair, easy to work with and always responsive to my emails. The day of the work, his team was on-​time, worked fast, and the end result, just see for yourself (I’ll add photo’s to the page). As I mentioned, they exceeded my expectations! And the price, VERY RESONABLE! Hats off to Goldy’s Lanscaping — great job!

I called and scheduled a spring clean up (and adding mulch to my landscaping). Goldy’s was able to quickly schedule me and did an amazing job. The yard looks great and ready for summer. The owner actually came by to inspect the job later in the day to make sure I was happy with everything. Fantastic service. I highly recommend this company.

Goldy’s just came out and Landscaped my front yard, they did an amazing job! It exceeded my expectations. My overall experience with this company was great, they communicated well, they’re polite, and they came out when they promised. Overall awesome company! Will go through them again when I need spring cleaning for my yard. Very happy customer!

Goldy’s was out today to install basement window wells and grade a problem area. They did an awesome job! They even set up my hose and got the seed watered — nice :) I will call them for future projects!

Greg and his son, GG, along with their crew refreshed my front landscape. It looks amazing. They removed a lot of old shrubs, and added new boxwood, Annabelle hydrangea, and dwarf lilac. They even hosed down the driveway so there was no trace that any work had been done– other than my new beautiful front yard.
I can’t wait to have Greg landscape my barren backyard later this summer. He is a pleasure to work with, was open to my ideas and completed the job earlier than expected. Perfect customer service.

¹⁰⁄₁₀ would recommend to anyone, whether you need a regular ol’ cut and edging or want help with a total overhaul (what we did!). Let’s just say aside from some grass cutting in high school I knew nothing about landscaping, and my work schedule/​travel doesn’t allow for regular upkeep. My girlfriend and I recently bought a house that needs a bit of work, mainly outside. After having an awesome experience with their regular cuts and maintenance we decided to take the plunge and let them just go for it on the flower beds, hedges, whatever. They were awesome about listening to our input while helping us pick out things that thrive in their given locations. We couldn’t be more thrilled! After this past winter I’ll probably let them worry about snow next year too…

Goldy’s is a hidden gem! I have been using Goldy’s for years but just recently (last summer) they took on a very unique project I wanted done in my backyard, the patio work they did for me was WAY past my expectations and I couldn’t be happier. Very clean and creative work.

I lived in the Berkley area for years before I moved to California. One thing I never wanted to do was landscape/​yard maintenance. These guys were quick, reliable, and always professional. Oh and they do a great job with snow removal too!
And snow sucks… Just sayin
