Great selection of high quality fabric. They love to talk Quilting and are very helpful and pleasant. I have gotten a lot of sewing and quilting tips from the staff. My favorite quilt store!

Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Took their time to help with my quilting project even though there was nothing I needed to buy. Nice shop, nice fabric.

I am trying to complete a couple quilts that my mother in law started before she got dementia and left the quilts uncompleted. My husband and I found this store to get advise on how the quilt squares need to be joined together to complete the quilt.(My mother in law completed all individual squares.) Both of the staff at the store are so helpful and take the time to explain to us how they need to be joined together as well as other options, even though they know that we were not in the store to purchase anything. I give the store high mark and will definitely be coming back when I need to purchase any materials or supplies.

TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. I was neither greeted, nor asked if I needed help, at any time when I was in the store(11/18/2015. 11:30 am). There was ONE other customer in the store, who I don’t believe was acknowledged in any way. This isn’t the first time I have encountered such lack of service at this store. It will, however, be the last time I BOTHER to walk in the door.

Good selection of fabric & precuts. Rude staff that ignores customers. Today 2 people were served before me, and I was wandering around for 20 minutes and never asked if I needed help. When I got home I realized I was charged more per/yard than the price tag(not the first time it has happened) Irritated because it is so close to my house, but I would rather drive to JoAnns.

Marvelous selection of contemporary and more traditional fabrics. Beautiful samples. Large cutting area. My first trip I found myself overwhelmed with choices. Not a bad thing!

I live in berkley and decided to try guildcrafters to find fabric to make a Pennant banner decoration for my sons birthday. They did have an amazing selection of quilt fabrics and already cut fabrics and kits. However, that was the only good part. The women behind the counter were not kind. They did not smile or say hello or anything. I brought my four year old and the baby in the car seat. Before entering, I reminded my four year old he was not to play with things in the store and that we would be quick. The women did not hesitate to tell my son not to touch things. He was only curious and did not hurt anything, but I could hear the annoyance in their voices. Also, I apparently walked in at lunch time and they did not seem to be happy about this. I have little tolerance for a business that makes a mother and her children feel unwelcome. I did buy what I can for, since the other store I tried to stop at was closed and I had little time. In the future I may try Haberman’s. They are much nicer, yeah, a little more expensive, but they are kind to my kids and even have somewhere for them to play.

Was just in yesterday, and the nice lady working advised me of the following: If you are the type that expects someone to greet you as soon as you cross the threshold, please don’t be offended because the employees at Guildcrafters don’t. There is an immediate physical step DOWN from the front door into the rest of the shop, and they’ve learned from experience that greeting someone before they’ve come all the way in means the customer pays attention to saying hello back… and completely misses the step and FALLS into Guildcrafters. As an incredibly clumsy(on a good day) person myself, I can’t fault them for this. :-D
