Just received my second hair cut here and have to say, I booked myself another three appointments into the future. I especially love the quiiet, relaxing, and ultra-​soothing hair wash room and routine. Totally blisses you out. Prices are comparable to other higher end salons with serious hair stylists working their mad scissor skills. Everyone comes out of here looking like a million bucks so I think all the hair stylists are very good. I see about 70% female to 30% male clientele here. They will even offer you a glass or wine, tea, or coffee when you come in. Really a classy place.

I have been going here for years and through all of their improvements their philosophy remains the same. Take care of your client. My hairdresser Lisa is top notch offering to do different styles that always come out spot on. She knows what I like and always deliver. They offer a lot of different services and their shampoo room is the most relaxing I have ever been in. Definitely give them a try!

It makes no sense that I live in Downtown Hartford — where I can walk to pretty much anything — and yet I get in the car and travel to Berlin to have my hair done. That is, it makes no sense until you try A Shear Perfection.
The salon is beautiful and the vibe is relaxed, warm, and, frankly, elegant. When you enter you are always offered a beverage (cucumber water is my favorite). Service never feels hurried, and staff is excellent at intuiting who wants to chat and who would prefer to spend their time reading. It’s really just a lovely experience.
My stylist Jenn is perfection, and is my only first hand experience, but from what I have seen all stylists are excellent.
