Ayers Creek Adventures

We had the best time with Suzy on our guided salt marsh tour! There was a group of 8 of us, all with different paddle abilities. She made the trip very easy and comfortable for everyone.
During our tour, she was a fountain of knowledge about the wildlife and the environment. We saw a bald eagle and nest, cormorant, egrets, ducks, gulls, you name it! I wish we could have floated around and paddled all day. I say floated because my shoulders can only paddle so much!
It was a relaxing, peaceful, educational trip with an arm workout thrown in. I highly recommend taking part in one of their tours for a unique, enjoyable experience.

Fun sunset tour. Lots of wild life. Bald eagles and herons. The guide knew a lot of about the area and was full of fun information.

We enjoyed our trip to Ayers Creek Adventures. We were welcomed and ready for the water in minutes. The kayaks were roomy and cut through the water. There was not a lot to see (we saw birds) for the two teens that were with me. The $ 40 for $ 50 coupon worked well and we were settled quickly. I would recommend Ayers Creek Adventures for anyone looking for a peaceful location to kayak.

Excellent SUP and kayak experience! Suzy and Steven were so helpful in setting us up for a wonderful morning. Ayers Creek is beautifully peaceful, the perfect environment for paddle boarding and kayaking. We have tried several places in OC for this type of activity, Ayers Creek Adventures is by far the best!

We decided to go out on an kayaking adventure while visiting Ocean City. This was a very different experience from the touristy places that you’ll find closer to the bay & OC. You’ll truly be out in nature. It was an awesome experience to see bald eagles and plenty of other birds. Suzy was great. She is relaxed, efficient and full of knowledge about the local area and wildlife. Our guided tour was in no way rushed and we were able to go at our own pace. It was relaxing and a good time.

Ayers Creek Adventures is by far the best place to kayak or paddle board in the Ocean City area! The water is calm and the views are breathtaking! I went SUP boarding for the first time there last week and Suzy, the owner, gave me tips to make my first time fun and successful! The next day I went with friends and we all had a great time with the paddle boards. We all felt the boards were nice and steady. Suzy and her staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! They pointed out where we could see wildlife and we did spot a bald eagle. We booked one of their Eco tours for next week. Can’t wait for that experience.

My husband and I had a private kayaking tour of the marshes with Suzy since there were no other customers at the time (just after Labor Day). The day was very warm and there were few birds or turtles to be seen but we did spot a few and Suzy kept us interested by relating the history of the area and facts about native wildlife. It is clear that she loves showing others around her world here. Ayers Creek is scenic and kayaking here is refreshing and fun. We will recommend Ayers Creek Adventures to friends and family and would like to return ourselves.

My wife and I showed up with no appointment and were immediately taken care of. Suzy is way AWESOME, a great guide, we learned so much about the area… we did the fresh water tour, saw a bald eagle in addition to other wildlife. Suzy also took our pic then sent it to us through email. We will most def be going back for the salt water tour.

Ayers Creek Adventures is — probably — the best place to kayak near Ocean City. I say probably because they are the only tour group there I’ve been on but they blew away my expectations.
I’ve kayaked a bit around the area; mostly in the bay and the St. Martin’s river. What you will see there is mostly the backyards of houses and lots of boat traffic. Ayers creek, on the other-​hand, is absolutely gorgeous.
We went on the sunset kayak tour with our guide (and owner) Steven. He has a background working for the EPA and lives on the property itself, so he is extremely knowledgeable about the area. On our trip we saw a variety of wildlife including bald eagles, great blue herons, osprey, ducks, and muskrat. Ayers creek is fair-​sized, meandering creek through isolated marshland. Beyond the marsh grass and tree lines there is not much besides farmland. On our paddle we didn’t see any other people or boats. We had the creek to ourselves, and the quiet and natural surroundings made it really special as we watched the sun set to the sound of cicadas and crickets. Our 3-​mile, 2 ½ hour paddle was very relaxing and could be done by people of any skill level.
If you are looking to kayak or canoe near OC, I cannot recommend Ayers Creek Adventures enough.

Absolutely, fantastic!!! We took the sunset kayaking trip. It was so tranquil and beautiful. Our guide was extremely knowledgable. We saw two bald eagles. The sunset was amazing and the full moon guide us back. When we got back, we enjoyed wine, cheese, and desserts. What a phenomenal experience!

Took the sunrise tour lead by Suzy. Well priced, great views, lots of birds and crab activity. Very peaceful, calm, and recharging. Good for families and solos too! Definitely a fun change of pace from ‘eat, beach, drink.’

Our group of nine went on the salt marsh tour. The outing exceeded our expectations. The kids and adults loved the tour. We will definitely return on our next visit to OC.
