Truly a gem. This place is great. The food is amazing. The whole belly clams are superb. Big portions and very fresh. Not cheap though. Worth the drive.

I was here a couple years ago when they first opened, and had the chicken tenders — excellent, fresh and juicy. Yesterday, a beautiful sunny afternoon, I stopped in a got a small side order of clam strips. I was slightly skeptical on seafood — as the place is so far from the coast.
This place is right across the street from a very scenic stretch of the Androscoggin river, so I drove up a hundred yards or so to picnic table right on the water. Fantastic! The «small» order is huge, and the clamstrips were superb — probably the best I’ve ever had. Get food and head over to the river — can’t beat it! Oh, and at $ 4.95 — the price is terrific!
And great pricing seems to be a general benefit of the whole Berlin area. Hit hard by factory closings a decade, the tourism scene is really kicking in with the 1000 mile «Ride the Wilds» ATV trail system drawing people from all over the northeast to the stunning scenery here. Better still, Berlin and other communities have changed traffic laws so you and you kids can ride your ATV’s all over the city and then right on to the trails.

Just went there in a middle of a thunderstorm for kicks and giggles but boy oh boy was I in for a delicious surprise. Amazing chicken tenders, beautiful women, and affordable pricing. Simply the best place to eat in Berlin, much better quality than the northland dairy farm up the road. Eat here, you won’t regret it!

The whole belly clams are sweet and succulent. The cole slaw is crisp, mild, and slightly sweet.

I couldn’t believe what a great value this place is. Clam strip role for two bucks is a great deal, delicious too. The Poutine was good but not great, I was expecting more of a chunky cheese curd, this seemed more like mozzarella to me. The attractive girl behind the counter helped me choose my meal and was knowledgeable about the menu. She was courteous and provided good service.

This is a new seafood takeout place in Berlin. I stopped and tried out the scallops, fried clams and haddock. Everything was excellent, well prepared, hot and delicious! Northland Dairy Bar sets the bar here for fried seafood. To my surprise the food here was better than the Dairy Bar and although about the same price you get more of everything. Another big plus is that the french fries are made from fresh real potatoes. The scallops are cut into slightly smaller pieces and are cooked more evenly and taste better. The batter was paper thin and really allowed the taste of the scallop to come through. The clams we’re perfectly cooked and crispy and delicious. We had a haddock sandwich and the piece of haddock was massive. We came up from Texas and will definitely eat there again on our next trip!
