A food scientist and turning a dream it into a reality. Her change and touch of marketing has done wonders for this winery. The place needs some additional tasting room and a way to close off the openness to the operation. However their wines are creative and well made. Any stop will make wine excursion delightful.

We picked a busy day to stop by! My fault for not checking the website. They were getting ready for a music event. We weren’t charged for the tasting since we bought a bottle of wine… nice deal. It was a bit frustrating during the tasting as they served the wine in really tiny plastic cups, smaller than a shot glass. There was no way to swirl and sniff the wines at all. It actually was more like doing shots. The wines were just okay… nothing overly impressive and the alcohol taste was strong in their port. The bottle I bought is for a friend who I think would appreciate their lighter, fruitier style. I’m hoping that it will improve as it was just recently purchased by a young woman who has a strong background in food and wine. Crossing my fingers!

This is a winery with very floral wines. At least that was how I felt they tasted. I was not a fan of the wine and the tasting seemed expensive for the quality and quantity. Small winery and staff has a unique personality.

Winery has some good wines(esp. Niagara and Blackberry). I was particularly annoyed when the wine snob behind the counter refused to serve someone in our party the Cabernet Sauvignon after she drank a sweeter wine. His statement was«(giggle) You can’t have that one now, it would be a waste of wine». First of all sir, your Cabernet Sauvignon was not worth the $ 19.95 you charge for it. In fact, despite being your most expensive wine, it was the worst one you had available. Second of all, when you charge $ 5.00 for the tasting, please allow one to make the decision on which order they would like to sample the wines. I would recommend checking your sommelier attitude at the door when you come to work. We came out to have a good time which was unfortunately ruined by your attitude. Thank goodness for the woman who came in and salvaged the experience. Let’s just say she cleansed our palate of your bitter salty attitude. Were it not for her, none of us would have even purchased any wines.

Small little winery… charge a $ 5 fee for tasting up to 5 wines! I don’t know if this is the norm for this area! Picked up some nice fruit varieties in here also a nice Baco Noir and Port. I will definantly stop back if I’m in the area.
