Me and my wife were excited to try the pies here after reading the reviews. We drove all the way here and bought a slice of strawberry pie to go. Once we got home we noticed the inside of the slice of pie had mold growing inside of it! Gross. This place should really take a hard look at their quality control process. We will not be coming back

BBQ is pretty good. Not my dream come true, but the servings are large and worth the money. We like this place, but it’s not an everyday kind of place for me. Beans are a spicy, but a good spicy-they’re not southern sweet like expected.

Pretty good Que. Pork rated a 5 as did smoked wings. Brisket needed a little longer on the smoker and pre slicing means it is almost always dry. But those smoked wings are worth a trip themselves. Good sauces all around as well. Do not leave without dessert as pie crusts are awesome as is crumb topping. Had blueberry but am sure Apple would have been awesome. Get some breakfast sausage to go. You will not regret it. See you again soon hill high

Stopped in today for lunch randomly. I got 2 pulled pork sandwiches with Mac and cheese $ cornbread. I also lost to temptation and got a slice of French silk pie. OMG it was fantastic. Pork was amazingly tender! Mac and cheese was rich and creamy and the cornbread was on point. Slightly sweet but not so much that it was on the dessert side. The pie was rich. I would say to balance it out maybe a thicker crust(the crust was amazing!) Overall great food. Service was friendly. We’ll be going back for sure! *Didn’t give it 5 just because it was our first experience so I want to go a couple more times.

I was really hoping something special was going to move into that space but it seems to that they haven’t changed a thing since they were located over on route seven. I’ve gone to their new location three times(ordering something different each time) and everything is barely mediocre… even their pies. I’d rather drive to route seven and pick up some amazing pies at Nalls. Such a shame.

Highly recommend! BBQ is great and the homemade pies are delicious! The customer’s service was very nice. I was 8 months pregnant and went there frequently. 5 stars for great service and great food!

Stopped here yesterday to grab a quick bite and got a Reuben. The flavor was ok with thick sliced meat. However, it was poorly trimmed with quite a bit of connective tissue, which was rather unpleasant to deal with. The whole operation still seems a bit disorganized, but the staff were very nice. If I were back in the area in a few months, I would give it another try.

This is exactly the hole-in-the-wall family-owned and operated business that Berryville needs! They have an excellent BBQ menu that includes pulled pork, ribs, brisket, smoked chicken, and even smoked meatloaf. And trust me, you want to try that meatloaf. ;) Homemade sides, BBQ sauces, and baked goods, along with pies that are baked fresh every morning. They do have most of the pies brought in from an outside company but you can’t find better pies anywhere else in the area. In my experience, it’s best to order your pie in advance since they run out fast.

Nasty bbq. I wouldn’t even call it bbq. They can’t smoke it right and the sauce is nasty. Prices for food is way overpriced. I tried to like this place. First time I got three sandwiches all different sizes, pulled pork didn’t even taste right. Second time I tried the chicken. It was dry and over cooked. They put this nasty sauce on it. The sides are gross, beans from can, coleslaw has no flavor and the potatoes salad was just gross. The food ended up in the garbage. Before they moved the BBQ was much better, probably because they bought it instead of making it. The sides portion are small. Save your money and drive pass this place. $ 17 for an apple pie? I can make 4 for that price. Just gross, nasty, and not worth you’re money or time.

Fabulous new location — this is the same Hill High Country Store from Purcellville/Round Hill. So glad they are in their new building in Berryville! Fresh pies, deli, great barbecue, such friendly service and such a cute new location! We ate at the picnic tables and enjoyed a great feast! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up! Welcome!
