I heard about Tricks of the Trade from a bike show my husband and I went to. We dropped off some vests to have patches sewn on. They did a GREAT job! Even color coded the thread to match the patches. Two of my patches were in the wrong place but, they immediately rectified it and I got my vest back the next day! Great, friendly, and the most reasonably priced place around. I will definitely go back for all my leather needs!

I had the tip of my heel come off and brought it in to be repaired. They did a great job and even smoothed out some of the leather that got chewed up. The only thing that bummed me out was it took a week because they were so busy. Other than that they looked great.

These folks custom made two belts for me, did a great job and completed the tasks in a timely manner and was reasonably priced. They are friendly and skilled craftsmen. I will certainly call on them again when I need a leather smith.

This business apparently has relocated to: 101 East Main Street, Suite 105 Berryville, VA22611 540−955−3565 Murphy missed the point. This husband and wife team are a «dying» breed of artisans that hand craft leather goods for the horse trade(we’re not horse owners) and other leather goods such as belts, wallets, and dog leashes. They also repair virtually anything made of leather: shoes, luggage, handbags, etc. They do all the work themselves right in their shop, not like the Korean Dry Cleaners that send the stuff out. We were so impressed with the quality of workmanship that we bought his and hers belts, and a dog leash. Wayne Groves fitted the belts to each of us and put on some finishing touches. The belts also were hand braided on the ends where the hardware was and the hand-loop, not riveted. Highly recommend if you have quality leather goods that need to be repaired, or if you are in the market for quality leather goods.
