Nonna Bella is our favorite restaurant around here! The food is wonderful, especially their soups. Just delicious. I highly recommend their Wine Dinners as well. Sue does a wonderful job of choosing different wines for each course during the meal. If you are looking for a delicious Italian style restaurant just a short distance from Loveland or Longmont, look no further! Highly recommend!

My wife and I had diner at this establishment tonight to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. It came highly recommended. We sat on the patio, my wife had the clam chowder, I had a salad. She said the chowder was very good, my salad was OK but the blue chesse dressing was nothing special. My rib eye was good and my wife had the salmon which was good too. The bread is so small in diameter it was like an over sized bread stick which was barely edible due to its thick crust all around . I had been told by the lady in charge(short blond curly hair) that while they offered nothing special in the way of celebrations ‚ she said if you order a desert she’d put a candle in it and embarrass us a little bit … Ok if thats it bring it on … Our cake was OK, but no candle, no happy anniversary, no NOTHING . On the way out I reminded the lady in charge that there was no candle, so she said Happy Aniversery to me in the hall way from the patio into the building. WOW Really, I didn’t say a word. Very disappointing. … maybe we’ll be back on our next 35th … yea sure ! Gary

Attentive and friendly service, ordered surf and turf. The lobster was perfectly cooked! Outstanding! The steak was not as stellar as the lobster but a very fine meal indeed. It’s not a crazy gourmand restaurant but a reasonably priced family run American Italian restaraunt with homey comfort foods. The eggplant parm is yummy as well. We will be back.

Had the Cioppino(lobster, shrimp, crab, clam) and it was delightful! A half of a whole small lobster! Man child(16yo) had the beef ravioli with shrimp added, his word, «Fantastico». Yes, hard to find small town hospitality like this in a small town atmosphere. Will be back!!!

We arrived on a Tuesday evening… Not busy. Service was friendly and prompt. Wine fairly priced with nice selection. The room has a very old smell that I don’t like… consider changing carpet out and a rigorous cleaning of all surfaces is needed. The salads were served with way too much dressing. The dressing was not homemade and was not tasty. Bread was white… Ordinary. Our dinners: eggplant Parmesan, Alfredo, spaghetti bolongase, and chicken Marsala were good. The chicken was deep fried or at least had that appearance. Not the expected prep. Forget GF here. They do have a beef option or salad… Yawn. Why not GF pasta or risotto? Limited choices for sure for anyone not wanting pasta. Prices good. So a decent, not exc meal with good service in an old room that needs a fresher smell and house made salad dressings served correctly.

I’ve been eating here since Sue and Tom opened and it has been really good every time. A friend from Fort Collins brought his wife for dinner after we had lunch(only open for dinner now). A friend from Loveland stopped for a meal and to collect a quart of marinara sauce he specially ordered in advance, since he liked it so much. Check the specials, oh boy. Soups, whoa! The house Chianti is my usual. Ahhh. I have also hosted two Christmas parties in the back room. Everyone had fun and a satisfying meal. We are lucky to have this place in Berthoud! :-)

A great Italian restaurant in this sleepy, quaint town. Very friendly wait staff, quiet atmosphere, and they were very gracious as we didn’t realize we had been there well past closing time. We went on a Sunday, and they offer brunch along with the regular lunch menu. I had a caesar salad(great dressing,) and lobster bisque, which was very tasty. My lunch date had lobster ravioli, which was also quite a treat. Definitely a place to revisit.

We were just strolling around Berthoud, and found this great place. Excellent sauces. Really nice mushroom soup with pancetta. I had spaghetti alfredo with chicken. The chicken had distinctively spiced flavor; all too often restaurants add plain chicken as an afterthought. My wife got ravioli with breaded eggplant, and found it excellent. She also reports that the tiramisu was uniquely good. It’s a short drive from Longmont, and we’ll be back.

Wish I could be more complimentary of this place, but I can’t. Cozy, quaint place with friendly staff near City Star(which is why we went). I had what was alleged to be Veal Marsala. At good Italian places elsewhere, that has generally been thin-sliced, but exceptionally tender veal is a red wind reduction sauce, along with fresh sautéed mushrooms. Here, the«veal marsala» more resembled chicken-fried chicken. Thick, chewy meat, breaded, covered by a nondescript yellow cream sauce and one(count it, one) mushroom hiding in the sauce. My wife had Spaghetti Bolognese, which was a little better, but nothing to write home about. This place was worth a try, but not a return visit.

Went here for dinner yesterday. Very friendly staff. The place was not too busy. The calimari app is Wonderful. Try it! My Eggplant Parm was excellent. Wine selection was limited.(But the Primitivo we had was good.) Only downside of our dinner was the $ 3 upcharge for a caesar salad with dinner. The salad was good, but not a value. Overall: We liked dinner here! Roger S.

Great place to linger and enjoy a home cooked Italian meal. Very down home and simple. Great food. Good service. Prices are on par with chain Italian places.
