McDonald’s

Honestly, I hardly eat at McDonald’s. In fact, I can remember each and every time I have — because recently it’s only been 2 other times in the past 2 years. We were visiting outside of Berwick and decided to make a rest stop for the bathrooms and a quick bite before heading home. First impressions when I walked in, I said to my husband — ‘wow, look at this McDonald’s.’ This McDonald’s was VERY clean– everything down to the counter where the ketchup and sodas were. Great décor (very comfy booths), colors and signage (nothing too crazy, but it definitely gave this small place a wow impression when walking in to me). The bathrooms were nice, again, were looked after and very clean. The food was really hot (we had to let everything cool for a few minutes) and the fries were excellent and fresh tasting. The only issue I had was that I I didn’t get to make my own coffee. There was no station with creamer/​sugar/​etc, so I had to tell the girl behind the counter how to make it (I like my coffee a certain way with number of creamers and splenda — and trying to tell someone else how to do it is a pain).
