I took my child to see Dr. Nayfack for behavior problems. He was condescending and just completely rude. He downplayed all of my concerns and gave me his «expert» opinion, which was pretty much common knowledge. On top of his arrogance, he had the audacity to ask me how I’m able to afford private school for my child. The question was totally irrelevant to what we were there for. I would not recommend Dr. Nayfack, please look elsewhere.

I saw Dr Nayfack. PLEASE if you are looking for a psychiatrist look elsewhere. I waited AN HOUR & would have waited longer but the person ahead of me left, This was my first meeting of Dr Nayfack but I have seen other psychiatrists (I just moved to the area, he takes my insurance). First off, he looked like he crawled out from under bridge. He was shockingly disheveled. Not «oh this Dr spends more time thinking reading writing disheveled» more like «I live out of my car & have a drinking problem disheveled». Then he asked the least insightful questions ever. I wasn’t asked ANYTHING about my mental health history. Not onset of symptoms, not previous meds, not if I’d ever been hospitalized… Then when I told him I take Zoloft (which is safe for breast feeding) he became so condescending & argumentative that I wanted to just get up & leave. He couldn’t recall common SSRI meds & their usual side effects. He then bullied me about getting OFF medication (which I have been off of with behavior modification therapies & that didn’t work). STAY AWAY from this doctor if you are looking for someone knowledgeable compassionate or respectful, he is completely LACKING.
