I tried this Cosi again and had a much better experiance. Food came out fast and employees friendly. Tried the new fit chicken soup– very good on a rainy day.

I love trying new menu items but at Cosi’s the flavor is just not there. Whoever the developer is has real bad taste. Just stick with turkey sandwiches at least you know what you’re getting. But any non traditional American food just don’t taste right. Not worth wasting 9 bucks.

Had my first experience at Cosi the other day for lunch. Very good! The food was so fresh, appetizing and tasty. I ordered a chicken bowl with a flatbread on the side to fill. My fiancé and I ordered a white chocolate walnut cookie to split. I will definitely be returning to Cosi — it’s a nice change to the normal lunch options!

I am a Cosi fan, but something about this location just doesn’t work. The feel is very cold, and the food is always just ok. Still a fan but I would rather visit another location.

I am not a big Cosi Fan but this location(in a strip mall in Wayne/Berwyn/Paoli ish) is close to my office and the Salmon Salad I got($ 10 ish) was decent. Iced coffee was bitter. Service was quick and very pleasant. A decent lunch alternative.

Drove out of my way to come here and when I started to order they told me they were out of all salads. It was late afternoon on a Wednesday.

The manager was staring me down as I was ordering. He looked so mad, relax you toast sandwiches, restock the salad, and take inventory. The steak and Gorgonzola sandwich was good. They have really stepped up their half and half deal. The half salads use to be a joke. The people working there are not as chipper as employees of the past. Panera has a more pleasant atmosphere. Watch where you walk because the soda machine is leaking and has warped all the floorboards.

Not a bad place to stop in a grab some lunch. I’ve had several of the pizzas and the sandwiches and they’ve all been good. I like the fact that they do have some menu options that are lower in calories or fat, but I would like to see this info more prominent on their menu in the restaurant. I’m a big fan of restaurants who post their key nutritional info directly on their menu. I like the Turkey Lite and it has a nice little kick to it. Sign up for their frequent card and you can earn free drinks and food. When you enter this store, you go down a long hallway and the menu is posted on the right wall. If you stop to read the menu, people who know what they already want will likely go in front of you. The line here can get a little long during lunch hour, so this is frustrating. I’ve learned to read the menu online and decide before I go. Once you place your order, they will give you a number that you put at your table and your order will be delivered to you(usually within 5 minutes). The menu basically consists of sandwiches(hot and cold), pizzas, soup and salads. While I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to a Cosi, this one is not far from where I work, so it’s one of the lunch places me and my coworkers will go to every now and then.

I find this particular Cosi location quite depressing. The space is industrial and cold. The furniture is 90s and outdated. If you’re not there during lunch, the place feels abandoned. The food is no different from any other Cosi, but the vibe is sterile and creepy. There are several other places in walking distance that I would prefer for a quick, inexpensive bite.

As another reviewer has noted, it is easy to compare Cosi to Panera. Both are upscale soup salad and sandwich chains. Cosi’s original draw was their unique bread which they of course still have today. It’s long and skinny and they cut it into large rectangles. You can see them baking it which is kinda cool. I had the new(I think it’s new, haven’t been here in several months though) curried chicken sandwich with candied pistachios. It was quite tasty. My only complaint about Cosi is that their food tends be rather salty. The bread itself is sprinkled with sea salt right after it comes out of the oven, so it’s almost as salty as potato chips, and they of course salt the sandwich fillings also. This place can be crowded, which is a drawback, but it is never crowded if it isn’t during the lunch period. Not helpful though for those of us who need to eat lunch between 12 and 1:30!

The food is OK, but the service is poor. Also, this location becomes extremely crowded at lunch time. * * * Update: Just visited this place again, reluctantly, at the request of friends. Nothing’s changed: The food’s still good, and the service is still miserable.

While this Cosi can get crowded as a jar of M&Ms, we usually don’t wait TOO long for our food. This Panera — oops, I mean, Cosi — has lots of seating, and the parking lot is huge. However, if you go during lunch, you might have to be prepared to fight for a seat. Food isn’t bad. Last I was there, I went for one of their weird flatbread pizzas. It was fine, but I guess I should know better than to get pizza at a sandwich and soup shop. Their sandwiches and melts aren’t bad, but I like getting breakfast there the best — it’s much less crowded in the morning, anyway.

Great for coffee and lunch, breakfast sandwiches are a little blah had better elsewhere, also they really open too late for breakfast. If you want a quiet place for a morning meeting this is a good place, gets busy closer to lunch time. Good large salads.
