I give this place no stars!!! I came to this place because in the summer I had came and it was excellent, I decided to take my daughter to get her nails done for picture day and I decided to get mines done as well and I was DISGUSTED! I sit down with no worries in the world and the guy starts doing my nails when he tells me to go wash my hands I turn on the faucet and cockroaches were crawling on the counter my daughter approaches the counter to wash her hands and I told her not to dare lean on the counter and she asked what was that crawling, mind you my daughter has never seen a roach in real life, then I start to look around and noticed that they don’t even clean this place up. The floor looked filthy like they have not swept or mopped In weeks, even the tubs to get your pedi looked dirty. I get back to the guy and tell him they had roaches on the counter that it was gross and told them to just charge me for whatever they did without the polish as I’m telling him this I noticed the roaches on the floor. I’m dumb for paying! If you have a phobia of roaches or get disgusted like me easily do not go here spend your money else where. Since the city of Berwyn demands that homes get fixed for the dumbest things they should shut this place down for being so filthy.

I walked into this salon with my mom and the first thing I told the receptionist was that I wanted a full acrylic set and that my mom wanted a pedicure. My mom waited about 15 minutes until they called her over.
I waited and waited and next thing you know my mom was done. So I asked the man how much longer I had to wait, and he apologized and said he didn’t know I was here to get my nails done too, he thought it was just my mom! This made me kind of angry because the first thing I had said to him when I walked in was that I had gone there to get my nails done! By this point an hour had already passed by since my mom and I got there and he told me that I would be next, but I still had to wait another 20 minutes.
As for my nails, they’re nothing special. It was $ 20 for a full acrylic set and I’m used to paying $ 35 at Gorgeous Nails in Lyons. You get what you pay for.

The service was subpar and I was not happy with my manicure. I saw them combining nail polishes and using thinners in the nail polishes when I arrived.
The lady doing my nails didn’t clean them well and globbed on the second coat. I ended up getting the bubbles on my nails because of the mini fans.

Good pedi my first time ever getting a pedicure. As for my mani not as good. The lady that did it didnt know what she was doing. But it got fixed right away from another employee that seems he has been doing it for a while. I will go back but as for him instead.

Horrible do not waste your money! The guy that did my nails was so rude and seemed bothered and rushed my nails, i was very disappointed with the outcome, never will i go there, and he didnt even speak up like calm down giving me attituded for no reason.

Not happy. The only reason they got two stars is because it was NYE and they actually had time for me. This place was a choice I made because I was short on time but I will not be back. The woman who did my pedicure was way too intense. She cut my nails too short and for some reason she thought she had to take out an ingrown nail that wasn’t even there… until now. Thankfully, I always carry my own polish because I wouldn’t have trusted using theirs.

Worst experience ever. I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon for a mani/​pedi. There was no one there except two who work there.
1. Instead of buffing the feet, they shave. Honestly, in the summer, I would’ve liked to keep some of my calluses. She tools she used were pulled out of a drawer, not barbicide/​alcohol solution. She didn’t take off the old top coat (although I put it on yesterday, she still should’ve taken it off and put a new one).
2. The tools they use need to be sharpened. I felt like they were pulling off my skin and cuticles instead of cutting. I asked to have my toe nails cut and, instead, she kept telling me that my nails were short already (they weren’t)
3. Worst, the side of my heel is all red and hurts. She was really «going to town» with that razor.
4. I wouldn’t return here ever. $ 35 for mani/​pedi is average price, but the service was subpar average and my heel really really really hurts.
5. It is now 8pm and I just realized that the clear top coat they put on my fingernails isn’t exactly clear. It looks like they are a light/​clear/​purple color. I bet it glows in the dark. My heel still hurts and I can almost guarantee that by the end of the day tomorrow it will bleed.
6. I woke up the next day with my big toe red and hurting. I am now officially limping and the «clear» polish on my nails is already peeling… less than 24 hours later. Great!
I have never been more displeased with a nail salon. Ever.

If you’re looking to get a quick mani/​pedi, or you need to have acryllics done, this is the place to go!!! They’re clean, fast, and polite!!! (This is not for people who want a Salon experience. Just if you want to stop in really quick for whatever you need done.) I’ve been going there for about 10 years or so, and they’ve always been very nice and accomodating. Don’t get me wrong, the décor and actual place is no diamond in the rough, but the quality of service and people there sure are!!!
