Office Depot

I had to write a review about Leah (hope I spelled her name correctly) in the copy department. She is fantastic. I visited the store to have a 36X24 poster of the Eiffel tower printed for my daughter’s school project. The first day I came to the store another young lady helped me, but when I received my picture it was not worth the $ 20 price tag. The picture was blurred and it did not print edge to edge. The young lady called over another gentlemen who claimed he knew what was to do. He downloaded a new picture from the internet with better resolution (supposedly) and stated that it would take about 30+ minutes to print. I informed him that I could pick it up the next day; preferably in the morning (it was 20 minute before close and I did not want to inconvenience the staff).
The next morning when I phoned the store (the gentleman helping me the previous day said it would be ready by 9am) around 10, Leah could not find my order. She was very helpful in calling the guy who wasn’t working that day and looking everywhere until she found the order and my memory stick…
To try to make this long story shorter… When I arrived to pick up my picture, not only was the picture printed incorrectly, it was the wrong picture.
Leah walked me through viewing the right picture and reprinted it twice to ensure I was happy. She was very sweet the entire time. Very helpful from my initial call to the store that morning and she knew exactly what she was doing. Kudos to her… and thanks a heap!

Really easy to make copies — walk up to a self serve machine, swipe your CC, and start copying. You can charge up to $ 150 of copies.
I also picked up photo mailers. Good selection & it’s a better value to buy the multi-​pack.
Friendly customer service & employees are easy to find if you need help.

This is where I go every August for school supplies.
What I like most about this store is that they have classroom school supply lists for all of the schools in Berwyn (both the #98 and #100 school districts). This is definitely handy in case you don’t have your list on hand with you when you are ready to go shopping.
I also like the fact that they always have everything my kid needs here for school. They never run out of anything, even during the big school supply rush– they have it all. I used to have to go from store to store and get everything piecemeal. Now, I just simply go to Office Depot, grab my list and grab the items and I’m out of there.
The wait time to check out is minimal. If you have an Office Depot savings card, it really helps out during school supply shopping time (I had about $ 100 worth of stuff and my card got me $ 15 off).
The store is very clean, spacious and the staff is nice. They even have «1 D» (that’s One Direction for you folks who don’t have teens, tweens, or preteens) notebooks, diaries, note pads, pencils, etc. And it was cheap. This made my kid happy and my wallet even happier.

I bought a printer here last night. I definitely appreciate that they were willing to match a competitors advertised price. When I got the printer home I was shocked to see it did not contain the ink cartridges it should. I called the store, fully expecting to have to haul the thing back, and get a new one. To my surprise and delight they offered to give me new ink, and not just the wimpy ones that I was supposed to get but full ones.

Still in Cermak Plaza (of the erstwhile stacked car sculpture), but moved into spiffy new digs in the former space of Circuit City, this is my go-​to spot for office and school supplies. The staff is fairly easy to find (even when the thing you are looking for isn’t) and usually very friendly and helpful.
