We were there today with a party of 12. As our drink order took place the waiter decided to ID two individuals despite not IDing others. Anyhow, they used their matricula to which she said, «i have to get approval for these.» Comes back and informed us she could not get drinks for them. FINE she continues with the others one of them is not 21 but he decided to test her and asked for a beer. She wrote it down kept moving and he decided to ask her do you need an ID? he response, do you have one? I called a manager who introduced himself as Tony and asked them what was the deal and he basically said they couldnt accept those because they could be fake and they needed to verify they were not so they only accepted state id and passports. I informed him that why is that not written anywhere or in their menus and also how can he assume they were not if they didnt have an identification system for IDs. He said, «is in our restaurant policy!» I asked if i could see it and waited over 30min to which the Tony guy didnt return this time another identify manager call Victor came and he said here is the policy from the state. I told him that i wanted to see the restaurant not the state because I plan to call the counsel and notify them that their identification system apparently is illegal. He said this is the state and thats what we follow. Which doesnt make sense because if true how can these individuals go to a liquor store in this state and able to purchase with no problems. He said, «thats their problem and we work here how we want,» to what i said so how you judge who to ID because in this table only a few were ID and others were not. I told him, I wasnt ID but he was what is the difference. His response is by who looks younger so i told him, «would you serve him a drink(to the minor who did order and got a beer without an ID) and he said idk how old is he and I said, «HEIS16!!! and she didnt ID him and he is almost 30 and she did but to whom you deny because he is using a matricula which is accepted nationwide. We informed him about the reviews we were going to post in Unilocal, facebook, and so on and he said to do what we wanted and walked away! What a service, I am wondering if it was discrimination? Second, they are in an area with over 80% Hispanics so i am sure on thre regular basis someone else comes with a matricula. Anyhow, their management needs to be trained is not about just management is about customer service and knwoing if they open their mouth about policies to realize is not the state. Oh and to top it off we paid 65 cash remaining in credit card than we realized they charge $ 9 more when questioned she claim only $ 55 in cash was given!!!

My boyfriend and I frequent Paisans, specifically this location. We love the pizza, the ambiance, and the entrees. We get the pepperoni and pineapple traditional pizza and it is consistently delicious. Definitely our favorite in the area. I also LOVE their side of broccoli, I order it every time!!! The appetizers are a bit pricey and there’s a reason the margarita is not on the menu but they know how to pour a Guiness and that one busser(the older man that’s always there) is always so sweet and accommodating!!!

I am super mad with your service. I have never in my life had to wait 8min on hold to speak to a manager, to have him hang up on me. His name was Victor. Today June 5th. I told him I was super pissed and I even said sorry for my language cause I was so mad. I called at 5:30pm to place my order was told it would be here an hour to hour fifteen. Order came in and almost all of it was wrong. I called back as soon as I had seen the mistake. Was told that the correct food would be sent out«immediately». Which was a huge lie as I had to wait another hour for the correct food to arrive. The manger, Victor, all he could say was that the girl I spoke to should have told me the correct time and she should have not said to me «immediately». Is it standard practice that when you, the restaurant, gets something wrong, the customer has to sit around and wait as though no mistake was made? No rushing to fix it? I am still upset about this whole thing. Your manger needs better training or u just need a person that knows what’s going on in the restaurant and won’t make poor excuses for the mistakes he didn’t catch nor care to correct in a timely manner.

I can’t tell you how horrible this place is… I could write about it for days and I may edit this in the future. For now… holy cow. HOWDOES A BUSINESSMESSUPMYFAMILYSORDERALMOSTEVERYOUTINGFOR3YEARSSTRAIGHT? Whenever my wife, myself, and my parents get together to get food from Paisans between the four of us there’s always one gaping hole in the order. Like missing fries with a burger. How… Once I ordered a pasta dish and they gave me a side of Vesuvio potato’s…the worker couldn’t understand the difference between two dishes… This happens every time folks. The food is cold almost every time we go on a weekend. They’re slow as hell. Overpriced. Last time I ordered the black and blue burger and I kid you not for less than a teaspoon of blue cheese. Didn’t taste it. The burger was clearly old. Ordered a side Caesar salad… lettuce, one cherry tomato, and dressing. It’s incomprehensible how this place is still in business. You know why? A bunch of dumb people hear other dumb people say it’s good. They pretend it’s good cause others do. Everyone goes there on weekends and gets drunk to where they can’t taste the food(on overpriced weak drinks) and then give it a good review. They have an aquarium and a few tvs and that’s it . It’s terrible. I rarely could give a place a one. This place is less than 5 minutes from me and I’ll never go back. Waited a year and tried it again and it was worse than ever. This was a month and a half ago.

I remember going to paisans in Brookfield with my best friend after school when we were younger. Used to love their food! Paisans in Berwyn… Not so much. The actual place is pretty cool. Industrial feel with a bunch of TVs. Came here to watch the GSW/OKC game and the service was more disappointing than steph curry in the first quarter of game three. Our server came by MAYBE twice. He was not helpful at all and kind of rude. Same story with the hostess, she blankly starred at me when I asked if they had seats by a TV and gave so much attitude. The food was decent but not worth dealing with the terrible service. Huge let down because the actual place has a good atmosphere and they serve micheladas. Oh well, not worth it. Most likely won’t be back.

Had dinner here last night(5÷11÷16) and went with the pizza. The crust tasted like it was either frozen or just not a drag crust. Also the beer menu provided was not updated so that was annoying. Nice atmosphere, décor and large tv’s but overpriced for so-so pizza. Service was friendly indeed but won’t be coming back.

I started going here when it first opened. Nice family restaurant. Good food and fun, noisy atmosphere. I still think this a few year later, but… last February I came in with my family(total of 4 people. 2 adults and 2 kids) ate and asked for the check. The check had a gratuity of 18% added on automatically. I asked the server who brought in a manager and he informed that it’s a recent policy to automatically add 18% to all checks. This is a deal killer for me. I believe it is the customers choice. Too bad, but it’s just a pizza place, and not Alinnea.

Trendy, decent pizza, neat décor. Nice menu, ok good, ok service. I like the look, the ambience is pretty impressive. Would like to try a beer next time when I’m not at work. That might sway my rating.

First time here and I have to say the wait was all worth it. I had my server Ash V. Tend my table as I placed in order for the famous deep dish pizza special. It was so good that I had to leave her a very generous tip. Will be a customer for life now.

Reading some of the comments makes me double look if they are writing about the same place. Well I don’t know what kind of pizza they order but this is one of my favorite pizzas! And do I know pizzas! Born and raised In Chicago I say paisans is my top 5! The service is another reason this is my top 5 and not to mention the Valet parking. Kudos on that. I’ve had from a party of 20 to a party of 2 and always was treated nice. It’s «loud» because there are TV’s all over and sports are always on which I love. Overall I would recommend this place, heck I’ve already have and the friends I’ve recommend this place to have no complaints.

4 stars for the valet guys…2 for the cooks and server. First time here with a big birthday crowd… I arrived late so I just ordered my food to go. Cold, crappy fries and a burger that could have been amazing if it was cooked medium like I asked and not well done. Can’t recommend this place… its loud, the food was meh(especially for the price… an $ 18 burger should be cooked as requested and have some hot fries as a side) PS: Either give those fish you have a bigger tank or give them to someone that can… how cruel to see all of those large fish cramped in a shitty small tank. I’d like to put whoever thought that was a good idea in a tiny box they can barely move in with a bunch of other mates.

The slow service at lunch on a Saturday, where there were more empty tables than occupied, is the only thing keeping Piasans from 5 stars. The food is great, the atmosphere is comfy and fun. Kids pizzas got two thumbs up. My husband got the roast beef sandwich that he was happy with, and I had the Piasans salad in a wrap, which is a great option. Loved the fries. Not sure why we’re having such trouble finding attentive wait staff Saturdays at lunch lately.

Since I moved to Berwyn nearly three weeks ago, this has become, at least temporarily, my home away from home, as I unpack, and find that my kitchen is temporarily unusable. I’ve eaten here at least six times in under three weeks: still not bored. The service is great, they’re friendly and stay on top of your needs. The selection is huge. The wings are among the best I’ve had since leaving Western NY. Top third, for sure. Parking can be tough; I often take an Über myself. The service staff is not only great to begin with, but they also tolerate my loud friend who maybe likes to drink too much.

Came here for a quick lunch. The prices are a bit high in my opinion, but the food if good. Ordered a chicken sandwich that came with a lot of fries. The salad is decently priced for the portion. Will try the greek salad the next time I come here for lunch. Service was a bit slow and the waitress was not too attentive.

The food keeps us coming back but the service may just make us use take out. While not extremely bad service, it isn’t very comforting.

Pretty decent pizza for delivery. The thin crust is made pretty well and its a better option than most of its neighbors. Better than many of your average places around. I have never been inside but have driven by and it looks pretty decent in there.

The nachos are out of this world deeeeelicious!!! Beware tho they’re HUGE!!! I wish our waitress had told us in advance just how big they were. We ordered a pizza and didn’t even eat it bc we were stuffed from nachos and we didn’t even eat half the order. We ordered a veggie pizza. We ate it the next day so not sure if that had anything to do with the taste, but I wasn’t really a fan. It tasted bland. I had previously been to Paisans once before and the first time the pizza was phenomenal this time it was definitely lacking in the flavor department. I also ordered a beef vegetable soup which was good, but wayyyyy to salty. All i could taste was salt. Not too sure what happened with that pot of soup. I guess someone wasn’t paying attention. My aunt ordered the minestrone soup which was pretty tasty.

I happened to choose their trial night without knowing. I got there and was told u get a free drink, free appetizer, free entrée, and free dessert as it was their first night. I went with 3 other people. The service was ace and food was great too. I will definitely be going here again as I live right across the road. The owner came out and personally greeted us and thanked us for dinning. What topped it up was they were out of their brownie dessert, so I ordered something else when the waitress bought out the desserts she told me that as they had run out the chef personally made me a brownie dessert. Thanks team!!!

We live in the City but always pass by this place when we head to the south Chicago burbs to visit my bf’s mom’s house. The place looks really big and cool on the outside, with metal and door features that catch the eye. On our way to a road trip, we finally stopped by to grab dinner from this place. I was actually surprised by the inside. It was industrial with motorcycles and metal pieces propped on the walls. It also has a couple very large TV and a large bar. I decided to order their mushroom and onion pizza while my boyfriend got their crispy chicken sandwich. We both also got the tomato bisque which was the soup of the day. The soup was pretty good and the pizza decent. My bf really didn’t enjoy the crispy chicken sandwich, saying it tasted like it was frozen for a long time. In all, the place looks really cool but the food is nothing special so we won’t be coming back.
