Saw these guys in the usual food truck dock out our office’s front door. All I had was a cup of brisket chili because I wasn’t extremely hungry… but boy was it good! Little light on the beans and a little heavy on the meat with a good hearty, almost spicy flavor. Nice big cup for $ 5. They also had goose island ginger beer in a bottle.

Unfortunately, they were out of the short rib on a pretzel bun and all they had left were wrapped in flatbreads
WILD BOAR
Tender stew on flatbread. Super generous cuts o’ meat, so much that I had trouble chomping down within the confines of my samich. Yay for providing forks! Was interestingly paired with a side of kimchi.
SPICY DUCK MOLE
You could taste the depth of the mole sauce. Decent but needed something more texture-​wise.
With the new ordinance passed this summer, I got excited about encountering fresh prep food trucks. Maybe there’s a lag in re-​outfitting, but maybe consider made-​to-​order, or keep them deconstructed prior to ordering so that they’re not so soggy?

Love the food trucks and this one has some great sandwiches I tried the El Borracho Samich = Tender Tequila & Lime Marinated Grilled Skirt Steak, Garlic Mashed Black Beans, Mexican Rice, Caramelized Onions, Topped w/​Queso Chihuahua served on a Telera Roll.
