We have used Sunny Days for around four years now. I cannot give them enough stars. All classrooms are very clean, and their playground for the tots has an amazing treehouse my son still loves. He is now 5 and although we now longer need full-time child care we opted to send him for pre-school; after having less then desirable experiences at other preschools. He is truly a different child while at Sunny Days; compared to other programs where he was sad, disengaged, and even refusing to go! When he comes home from SD he is happy and full of stories of how much he learned, and the fun he had. When we did have him enrolled there full-time we could not have been happier. My husband and I went to work each day knowing he was in excellent hands. When he was younger and still in diapers we never once thought the room smelled, or was unsafe in any way. We found all of the staff there to be friendly, professional, and never once saw any negative attributes out of a staff member. From the administration: Mrs. Pat, Jennifer, Maryann; to all of the teachers, including Kim, Mary, Monica, Dana, Ofe(just to name a few) we looked at them as if they were part of our son’s family. I cannot stress how wonderful and welcoming they are. I know it will be a sad day for my little guy when he is too old to attend!

We have been using SDLC for appx 6mo now(daughter is 14mo). The staff have been wonderful, supportive, and caring. We were previously using an in-home daycare and were concerned about the transition but they helped to make it an easy one.

I would NOT recommend this place at all. It was very unprofessional, smelly at all times(like dirty diaper) and looked messy and unorganized. The teachers were treating the kids like they were at home, and not in a good way either. My son was about two years old and the teacher at the time would wrap her arms and legs around his whole body and CONSTRAIN him when he was crying or upset. Which is exactly the OPPOSITE of what a small child needs when they are upset. They favor Latino children big time, so if your child is Caucasian or African American than your child will not be treated well at all. He told me about it two years after attending, when we were looking threw my photo album and he saw a «class picture» from Sunny Day’s which triggered his bad memories and other bad stories about how they treated him. Kids don’t just make this stuff up, especially when they seem shaken by the memories a couple of years later. If it was an option, I’d give them a ZERO. As a mom, I feel obligated to share this in hopes it will prevent other kids from being mistreated.
