¡Qué Bueno! Great little taco place walking distance from my home. The place is very affordable and makes great tacos. We had a couple of taco platters and the corrizo and cheese appetizer. The food was well seasoned and served nice a hot. The folks working there were very nice and made good recommendations for us since it was a first time. I’ll definitely be back for more good food.

Had the Burritos and they were nasty. Meat was rubbery & pale. Saw the reviews I was expecting more. Huge disappointed! Warning: Make sure there is a toilet near by after consumption.

Oh so tasty! Went there for breakfast and was delightfully suprised. It was clean, the portions were bigger than expected and the waitress was very nice. I ordered the Huevo Rancheros with steak which was very good with a little«bite» because of the jalapeños. Best of all, the prices were very reasonable. $ 20 for two full breakfasts, drinks and two orders of tortillas. I’ll diffently be coming back!

Everything seemed reheated, nothing fresh. Food mediocre but priced well. Mostly likely not returning.

I think everyone hype this place up way too much! I drive by this place all the time and I’ve always wanted to check it out. I read all the comments on Unilocal and suddenly got really excited to go. I thought to myself YES finally a new place in Berwyn that I can get good tacos aside from Zacatacos. Hah! This place disappointed me all around. The boyfriend ordered a Barbacoa Gordita. Normally a gordita comes with Beans, Cheese plus the meat and any other trimmings you want to add. The gordita was serve with NOTHING just the meat. So I asked our waitress what the deal was she mentioned everything else is extra. Are you kidding me? I went with steak tacos(Who can mess this up right??) Wrong! The meat was flavorless and very chewy. I had to add extra hot sauce and salt to get some type of flavor. I also had a fish taco it was not the that bad but very slimy. They didn’t bother to get it all the way of course. I think the only thing this place can honestly say they have a good thing going is the salsas. Anything else is tasteless. Definitely will not be coming back!

I had the pork tacos with homemade salsa at Berwyn fest. It was fantastic. I can not wait to eat in the restaurant.

It has a simple décor and great food. Authentic Mexican food with great chips n salsa. They additionally provide a small soup that is great. This is a family owned restaurant with good service. This is one of our go to places. We feel right at home.

I went here a few weeks ago because we were looking for a restaurant that we could sit down and get served quickly and leave. You’d think tacos are quick to make right? So we were 1 of 4 families there. Once we sat down it took about ten minutes to get chips and salsa. We ordered and 20 minutes later we asked the waitress why our tacos where taking so long. The waitress gave us a snotty look and said it’s not that were taking too long, it’s just that we have a lot of orders. WTF! I don’t give a crap what your excuse is but I’ve never had a waitress talk to me in such a rude tone especially when I always am calm and friendly(I was once a waitress). 10 minutes later I still have no food in front of me and all I ordered was tacos. Finally our food shows up; the carne asada is mediocre at best the al pastor was tasty. FINALLY I dig into my rice and I find a piece of broken disposable knife in my rice! ! ! I call the snotty waitress and she looks at me say«oh.» And walks away with my plate. Finally, a very nice older lady comes over and apologizes for the incident and tells me that she’ll comp me for my kid meal. The al pastor was quite tasty but let me assure you it is the last time we’ll ever be going in this crap hole again if I could give it zero stars I would.

This place is awesome. The food is authentic and not greasy. I read previous reviews and I feel bad because they do not see the Tacos Y Salsa I know and love. I order from this place probably on a weekly basis. It’s close, inexpensive, and good. I have never had any problems ordering my food over the phone and I always call ahead.

I went here a cuple of months ago and really thought the food was good. Today I called to place an order to be picked up. The girl who answered did not speak English. She handed the phone then to a man who didn’t understand English. OMGREALLY, now I know why there’s never anyone in this place. Its really to bad because I think the food is good. But unless u can point at what u want on the menu, and u don’t speak Spanish, forget about calling in a order. Note to owners if Your want to stay in business, u should learn how to speak English. There is people in the area who love good Mexican food that don’t speak Spanish.

How have I not reviewed this lil’ gem yet?! It’s an awesome little mom & pop shop, which I love to support. My husband and I usually go on weekends, and are helped by Cesar, who is so awesome! He always remembers our orders, as we almost always order the same meal each time. He’ll make suggestions if we’re looking for something new, and is so friendly and accommodating. What I love about T&S is that their food is not greasy. That is my biggest issue with most Mexican restaurants, greasy beans, greasy tortillas, etc. Nothing there is greasy! Their Pico de Gallo is great, love the chicken mole tacos, and my husband loves their soups. I’ve had the veggie and noodle soup(don’t recall the name) and it’s yummy. I asked for a bowl of it, but be warned that they only serve it during the week, and Pozole only on the weekends. The only downfall I could see is the temperature in the wintertime. While I’m always cold, It feels like the only heat inside is coming form the kitchen. Again though, small family operation here, and the food is awesome so I suck it up and dress warm when going in the cooler months.

Our new Favorite Mexican restaurant! Generous serving of fish in the fish taco. My husband ordered Platillo Lara, which is chili Relleno, grilled skirt steak, grilled onion, avocado, rice & beans. Delish! Try this restaurant!

Definetely worth checking out. They have really good tacos you wont find at other taquerias. Shrimp, stuffed chile poblano, chicken mole and fish tacos are just a few examples. Their salsas are better than average. Has a homey feel to it. Service is really good and friendly as well. Cant say much for the décor but I will definetely be back for the food. Ive driven past a million times and often thought about coming in BUTDIDNT. Tonight Im glad I finally did because Ive found A NEWSPOT!!!

I love these types of taquerias. Home down cooking and good prices. I was in the area and starving, my first option was a sub across the street but I choose this place. Great salsas! I had the chilaquiles(my favorite brunch food) and I loved them. I cant wait to go back. Parking is not bad but you are on 26th so you need to make up your mind where you park quickly. Go here for good cheap mexican food.

Went in to try out their tacos, and the tacos were delicious, also they provide you with some chips and salsa while you wait for your food and that was good too. The only thing I didn’t really like was how they were low on supplies such as straws and napkins… but the way the lady made it up to us was that she went next door to buy straws, very sweet of her. They try to please the customer as much as they can.

I bought 2 tacos from the Tacos y Salsa stand at this past weekend’s Houby Fest. I can’t comment on the restaurant itself, or even burritos, as all the stand was selling were tacos, but I’m sold. The chicken tacos were marinated, and the red sauce was honest-to-God«you can smell it from the other side of the house» strong, but it was damn good. I’ll definitely check out the regular location in the near future.

I love this place! It’s a small storefront where the Mexican food is made to order, delicious and inexpensive. You can eat at one of a few tables or at the counter– but either way– the service is very friendly. If you get a chance– check it out– I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
