Waldo Cooney’s

We tried Waldo Cooney’s for a second time last night after hearing from John on Unilocal.He read my original review and even though it was three stars (not that bad of a review) he wanted to make me a happy customer.
We got the thin crust supreme pizza last night and it was much better than the original order we placed the previous week. It was delivered hot and fresh by a driver who wouldn’t accept our money. John wanted to make sure we were treated right (even though our previous experience wasn’t even that bad) and he gave us a pizza on the house.
Sauce was very nicely distributed and not too acid — not too sweet, it was a perfect balance. The cheese was melted to perfection and the crust was crispy and extremely enjoyable. It had that sweet spot of crispiness, you know that one where it’s so perfectly crisp, if it’s in the oven one more minute it’s burnt. The toppings are all fresh and filled with flavor.
We gave them a real challenge by ordering the supreme as all the vegetable ingredients tend to leave a «wet» pizza. The pizza was great. Sausage is absolutely full of flavor and juiciness.
I’m a pastor for a youth group and we have pizza usually every Friday or every other Friday. I think we will be taking advantage of their low priced family sized pizza’s from now on.
Not just a good pizza place but a pizza place that really does care about their customers. Family owned and run by a wonderful father and son team. I would have gladly recommended this place before and now after the way they took care of us you bet I will tell everyone I know about this place.

The guy who answered the phone is great super nice and he confirmed my order. The pizza is really good but my pizza came smashed so 60% of the cheese ended up on the top of the box. Don’t think I’ll be ordering here again unless I go and pick it up. Pretty disappointed.
John the owner is super nice and apologized for the issue I had the first time. The second time was way better.

Popped in over the weekend. Ordered a medium with sausage mushroom green pepper and jalapeño peppers. Toppings were generous —-remains one of the best pies around.
Still not sure why my reviews are recommended. Talked with the owner and when they called Unilocal for an explanation all they got was a sales pitch to buy some advertising. I sure hope that’s not how this app works… I enjoy using it and to find out that the review algorithm includes a variable around advertising spend would be very disappointing.
In the meantime —stop in for a delicious pizza!

It’s about time berwyn has a good pizza spot sold by the slice. I go there whenever I crave pizza and most of the time I get it fresh. It’s a most try

Just moved into the neighborhood and wanted a pizza slice on the go… Guy at the counter was super nice. Pizza was delish. Definitely will try this place again!

Ordered the thin crust sausage and mushroom pizza. The crust was nice and crispy, sauce to cheese ratio was perfect.
We also ordered the ½ lb shrimp and a breaded steak sandwich. Shrimp were nice and crispy. Next time we’ll ask them to go easy on cheese for the breaded steak sandwich. Wings were just ok, not bad not good.
Will definitely order from here again.

Terrible pizza. Husband compared it to Chuckee Cheese. Wings okay, but will not order from here again.

Really really enjoy the pizza! Owner and son are very nice and friendly. Its my families new favorite pizza place! Also, the garlic cheesy bread is to die for! Highly recommend!

Our family has a new favorite pizza place: Waldo Cooney’s! Their double-​crust sausage pizza is the best! And their customer service is fantastic! We have been ordering from Waldo’s for a few weeks (Fridays are pizza day at our house) and have not been disappointed… not once.

The pizza is good I’ve run in nd grabbed a slice on the go. I work close by so the second time I ordered I got hot wings. Mind you we only get 30 min breaks, the food took over an hr. Dominos, Pizza platter DON’T take that long to deliver. They need to work on there delivery time, I will give them this the delivery guy is very nice man compared to other places. Sweaty/​damp hot wings don’t taste good. Other then that the food is pretty decent. Better off picking up though.

Wonderful, tasty, great balanced sauce, perfect sausage, thin crust pizza. We ordered and had it delivered to Godsons bar on Windsor. It was a great pizza. Will order again. Super impressed.

We have given this place a few chances now, and over all were disappointed, good price on the single slice but the crust isn’t that good, the thin was better (had to order it though.) The cheese sticks were good, but the breaded steak sandwich was slightly burnt and hard to eat, we also had the chicken parmesan sandwich, the chicken was like frozen nasty chicken (he described it as“McChicken” chicken.) We will probably stick to the pizza slices, and purely because of convenience.

BERWYN LOCATION: We ordered pizza earlier tonight now technically last night at 945pm. We are still waiting for delivery and when we called realized that they closed at midnight. When we placed our order the gentleman on the phone knew our address and name, maybe from caller id and we have ordered from here before. He took our order and said it would be a little over an hour. We live down the street from this place and somehow our order was not delivered. No phone call no show. This will be the last time we order since it is 1am on Sunday and we have not had dinner. We have since ordered from Al’s and we are sure that they will deliver on time.
