There isn’t much out here. Each vendors pretty much sell the same products such as iPhone cases. Some of the people are crazy out here and the vendors tend to be pushy for a sell. As for the flea market, it’s one of those places you’ll go every now and then. You shouldn’t buy any suspicious items to avoid getting scam, since majority of the items are bootlegged. A Mexican food truck is stationed out there and I end up buying a steak quesadilla which came with two type of dipping sauce. My opinion, that was the highlight of my trip since the food was spectacular.

The number of vendors at the Bessemer flea market has dropped dramatically over the past few years. They have started having some vendors that sell fruit and vegetables but it is mostly sneakers, off brand stereos, and sunglasses. I can no longer in good conscience recommend this flea market to anyone

I go here some Saturdays to walk around in the nice weather and grab food. The taco truck is always here and there’s also a tamale truck that’s amazing. Every once in a while I’ll find something I can’t live without… a pair of sunglasses, pocket knife, a fake Gucci purse, or some used sneakers for super cheap too.

I’ve been going here for years, and have an admitted soft spot for it. It’s one of the few left in the city. There is just about anything you can imagine there. Winter time is a little sparse, but spring and summer brings full stalls and lots of crazy people watching too. Here’s a little tip also — Really awesome Taco Truck there every weekend and also another truck serving tamales, roasted chickens, corn cups etc.
