Buyer beware, prepare to be up charged for digging because it’s too deep. They must be commissioned because in our case $ 95 inspection became a $ 550 service bill. Simply untrustworthy would never use again

Well, we were given a range between 11 am-​2 pm when the crew would show up to work. They came at 1:00, after their lunch. Then they started punching around the yard to find the septic tank, finally found it, but said it was too deep (2 feet!) and would have to dig for it, but it was going cost an extra $ 275. We agreed, but then 20 minutes later (and not even attempting to dig,) they came up and said they needed a machine to dig it out and didn’t have the machine. They gave me a phone number of a guy who could dig it, and I called him immediately. The guy said he could come right then. Well, the Meeks guys looked really uncomfortable, and said they had to go to their next appt (I guess they didn’t want to be two hours late for that appt.) but would come back later. We agreed, but strangely enough, the man with the digging machine called about twenty minutes after the Meeks guys left, and said he couldn’t get his truck to «crank.» Do NOT use Meeks if you value time and money in your plumbing services. NEEDLESS TO SAY, we hired someone else.
