Nails For U

The day I came it in it was pretty empty. All guys. They were friendly. At least two of the three of them had been smoking, vaping, and or napping while I got my nails done.
This is a decent no frills place. I wasn’t crazy impressed with their nail polish collection and that would turn me off from being more of a regular here. As a caveat I will add that applies only to the regular polish as I didn’t get acrylic or any shellac/​gel manicure. It looks like they sterilize via those little ovens. I never know how truly sterile those places are. Meh. Their products were definitely on the lower end. The nail file used on my toes was one of those really cheap throw away thin kind. You know, the ones about the length of a Popsicle stick. I guess it got the job done okay but I definitely need something a bit more substantial on these thick behind toe nails. Oh. My nail tech used this same nail file to buffer the rough parts on the top/​side of my toes. Perfect. (insert sarcasm). The lotion used on my feet was so watery and see through, I left with my hands and feet looking more ashy than when I came in. Whatevs. All that being said my polish job was sufficient which is what I mostly wanted anyhow. And that’s not saying much. My nail tech got polish on the side of my toe and tried to get it off with polish remover. Emphasis on tried because the visible side of my big toe is now a red shade lighter than my toe nail. Fantastic. Anyhow I came in with fairly low expectations– so low you could literally walk over them-​which they just barely did. In the future I would probably only come here on a day like today where I’m in a bind, in a hurry but also feeling too lazy to fight Hoover traffic to find a better salon with a much longer wait. I’d also just opt for a polish change.

Very friendly, service was fast with excellent results. I showed them a picture and they did exactly what I asked! Best salon experience I’ve ever had and I plan to return soon!

I really like this shop! The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The massage chairs are first class, like the staff and you get a real quality spa pedicure for only $ 25. That’s a steal compared to some other «spa» establishments.

I recently moved to this side of town and Nails For U was convenient. First, they cost more than my nail place in Inverness. I asked for a gel and he put 3 thick coats of regular polish with a gel finish. It didn’t last a day. Even with his $ 5 off coupon for my next visit, I will never go back.
