I generally have an empathetic approach when dealing with people working in retail. I’ve worked in retail myself. Walgreens, however, takes the cake on horrible, horrible customer service. A few years back, this crap-shoot gave my prescription to someone else. Yes, you read that correctly. Sadly for them, the person they gave it to happened to know me personally. After screaming at Kim, the pharmacy manager I thought I would at least have earned humane treatment by their staff. Nope. Even with Kim admitting they messed up at giving my prescription to the wrong person, I, as well as others, are treated like human garbage. Today was the day I decided to contact corporate. I was standing in line waiting to be checked out. Judy, another ray of sunshine, checks out the person in front of me, then quickly grabs her stuff and walks out of the pharmacy entirely. I stood there in a state of shock. I asked the other tech if that was common practice, and the only response I got was«She had to go to break.» I’ve completely given up on this pharmacy. The people there are the worst I have ever crossed paths with. They should all be ashamed of themselves.

I guess it’s store policy to lie about prescription wait times. When I asked for the prescription back they said the could fill it in 20 minutes. A hour later I finally got it.

Very very friendly staff and a very clean store. It’s hard to really review establishments like Wal-Greens except on those two things. I even noticed while walking by the pharmacy that the pharmacist recognized and new by name a customer as soon as they stepped up to the window. You can’t get much better customer service than that. Great store!
