Always an adventure to shop at Japanesque. Variety and style are important Friendly staff makes you enjoy shopping here! Love new styles esp scarves, pottery Where else can you find Hello Kitty and kimonos?

Every summer when we come out to Bethany, my daughter and my mom and I can’t wait to drop by this shop. Funky clothing, gorgeous purses, fun Japanese items of course. I am a bit of a lunch box fiend and I got a wonderful Hello Kitty one here a couple years ago. (Two levels! Large enough for a lot of food!) Silver jewelry, colorful socks, a small selection of very interesting books. Soap.. . sandals.. . wind chimes.. . seriously, don’t miss it. There’s always a sale rack out front.

I visit Japanesque every summer. They have unique items — clothes, jewelry, dishes, incense, and much more. I always find something nice! I have even had them special order and ship home.

This place is a Bethany Beach gem! Why three stars then? Well I think the people could stand to be a bit more friendly.
Anyhow, I come here every year and/or every time I visit the area. I love all the merchandise they carry. They have a good selection of Sanrio products (Hello Kitty). I love their dishes and always walk away with many little japanese dishes.
Definitely visit them and you will see all the great Japanese merchandise.
