This is a great place to eat on the bethany boardwalk. Fresh organic coffee every day. Outstanding crab cakes and shrimp salad. Yummy fruit smoothes made your way. Owner Tamara is always there with a big smile and warm welcome. Open year around

I’ve visited Turtle Beach Café 6 times in the last year. There coffee is excellent and their crab cakes are one of the best I’ve ever had, but the smoothies although good are not made with real natural ingredients. I visit the Juice Box a lot in Ocean View were everything is made from scratch without syrups and other artificial ingredients. I know the cost associated with keeping real ingredients is high but I would love the smoothies if they were naturally made. Getting back the the crab cakes though WOW I couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend forth of July, eating a delicious crab cake on the Bethany boardwalk with my retired parents watching the fireworks. Will definitely be coming back over and over again.

Great location, nice menu, fantastic service. Portablla panini needed some more flavor. But overall, a great place to stop in for a quick bite on a sunny fall day on the board walk in Bethany.

I’d been looking forward to TBC for months. Read about it and walked by in the summer, looked promising and had great reviews. Dropped in with the family yesterday. Disappointed. Food was ok… roast beef wrap and crab cake sandwiches were good, but not the life shattering event they were billed to be. The shrimp in the quesadilla were big and well seasoned but with just a sprinkling of cheese. The Bella panini special of the day(portabella mushrooms, tomato, pesto and something else I forgot on multigrain) had so much potential but the flavor wasn’t there and they skimped on the pesto. Apparently cheese and pesto are scarce commodities in Bethany Beach in October. Anyway, toss in some drinks and chips and we’re at $ 100 for six of us. Ouch. I’m a big café fan but I’m on the fence about whether I’ll turn in next time I’m on the Bethany boardwalk. The lady behind the counter was very friendly though.

Best tasty yet healthy food option on the beach. Crab cakes and pesto are great! If they would eliminate the styrofoam plates and cups we would come much more often. Owner is friendly but some of the summer help is hit or miss. I heard others complain about styrofoam this summer so hoping to see a change soon and then I would give it 5 stars.

Great panini’s! Even better when you get them to go and head back to the beach! And nice staff!

Probably my favorite spot on the beach. The paninis are addictive, but you HAVE to get Tamara’s homemade pesto on them! The coffee is awesome, and very easy to take to the beach because the café is right on the boardwalk. They are also very vegetarian/vegan friendly and have almond milk for the coffee if you’re interested– just ask and they accommodate. I would never have called quiche beach food before, but Turtle Beach Café has convinced me that their homemade quiche is basically the perfect beachy snack. Most of all the entire staff is so wonderful and nice, it creates the most welcoming atmosphere filled with delicious food and iced coffee. Even just stopping by for a chat is always welcome!

Holy Moly this place rocked my socks. Read some reviews and had to try it out. It is right on the boardwalk so I didn’t really expect much. This place definitely exceeds, the staff was super friendly, place was nice and clean and the crabcake sandwich was auhmazing. This is a most on any trip to Bethany. :)

This little shop offers delicious healthy sandwiches, smoothies, quiche, and pastries. It has seating inside and out. It faces the beach but due to high sand dunes you can’t see much. Very healthy cheap place for those watching their wastelines.

Just stopped by here after the long Memorial Day weekend to grab some lunch before heading to the beach with a 2 year old and 7 week old. Crazy? Yes! Life’s a beach. Anyways, I’m surprised that there are only a few reviews for this place because it’s right on the boardwalk! Wife ordered a fruit cup(which was huge with yogurt, granola, fruit) which was really good. I had the crab cake sandwich(asked the owner that I was deciding between that and the breakfast panini). Owner recommended the crab cake sandwich because they make the best around. Yea ok. But, she was Right! Definitely best one I’ve had in a while with local lump crab meat and barely any filler. Don’t know how they seasoned it, but the seasoning was perfect in my opinion. Not too overwhelming and tasty still. Very impressed. Although I heard some tasteless jokes about trayvon Martin, I didn’t let it sway my review. I chalked it up as just another young college kid not knowing how insensitive he was being with customers around. Iced mocha coffee was awesome and some healthy green smoothie was also delicious. I believe they make it all fresh. Place is a mom and pop shop I believe. I have a special place in my heart for mom and pop shops. The Good: — location is great, right on the boardwalk. — crab cake sandwich is a must have — paninis are so good as well as their drinks — besides the tasteless joke, service was really good — fresh ingredients, take care in making their food healthy and fresh — owner really enjoys the customers and treats the business as a means to help customers enjoy their products The Bad: — tasteless jokes from young workers can be forgiven The Ugly: — none

Exceptional quality food and drinks. A great place in a great location on the boardwalk. I had a turkey and swiss panini and a café mocha and I highly recommend both. Years ago I used to go to The Galley in the building next door and it’s so great to have a favorite spot here now.

Fantastic made-to-order fresh food. This place is an oasis of healthy and great tasting food choices amongst the usual greasy-spoon restaurants on or near the boardwalk. I’m hooked on the quiche — I have tried every variation they have come up with. The wraps are a close second for me. Portions are large, prices are very reasonable. Location is unbeatable — right on the boardwalk.

We have been waiting for over 30 minutes for our crabcake sandwiches to learn that they were never started. Great sandwiches but they need to work on their production process.

Went for an espresso drink. Ordered a skim vanilla latte. Might as well have been a cup of warm milk. Disappointed.

I am in love with this family-owned GEM on the Bethany Beach boardwalk. They have delicious and healthy fare– and everything is made fresh. They offer sandwiches, wraps, smoothies, refreshing iced coffee drinks and gelato. They are open year-round(much to my surprise) and the service is very good, even on extremely busy summer days. My #1 recommendation if you get to visit Turtle Beach Café is: Ask for the Loggerhead sandwich. It is not on the menu, as it was a special item a few years ago, thought up by the owner’s teenage son. It consists of turkey, avocado, sprouts, tomato, lettuce, and special spicy mustard, served warm on 7-grain bread. Do not pass up TBC if you go to Bethany Beach!

Delicious food right on the boardwalk. They have an amazing crab cake sandwich that is full of fresh crab meat and not a lot of filler. Good selection of drinks and snacks as well.
