We saw the bad reviews for this place, but thought«how bad could it be?» It was bad. Check your order before you leave. We ordered water and got Coke. Ordered Mac n cheese and got coleslaw. Ordered a chicken sandwich and never got it, although they charged us for it on the receipt. Didn’t give us any napkins either. We got a soft taco with all of its contents emptied into the bottom of the bag. We had low expectations, and they weren’t even met. Lower your expectations to zero if you want fried chicken and tacos in Bethany.

We had the misfortune of stopping here on our way home from a quick trip to Iowa. Besides the fact that almost all the food was cold, we had to deal with horrible customer service, from the individual who appeared to be the manager — I know her name, but won’t bother to post it here. The food itself took a little longer than one would expect, but I have worked in and managed restaurants for years and now teach it, therefore, I understand that sometimes an operation will get busy, a little unexpectedly. You could say I have a high threshold before I actually lodge a complaint. The gentlemen who was working the KFC line and brought the food out to the counter where I was waiting was very pleasant seemed to actually care about the customer. However, I forgot to ask for Ranch dressing for my 5 year old and had to go back to the counter. Because I had to wait at the counter for another five minutes to get said dressing, I got to watch the employees working in the kitchen, paying little attention to anyone in need of anything at the counter. After about four minutes of waiting, the manager lady, who was helping on the taco make line turned to her co-worker and said something to the effect of «I don’t come to his work and watch him, do I»? Well, she is welcome to do so, anytime. She wouldn’t even stand and talk to me when I addressed the issue before leaving. Besides, I cannot wait to share this horrid customer service experience with hundreds of college students over the next several years. Students usually love stories like this, and I love sharing all the details, so while the money was wasted on bad food, the excellent example of poor customer service made it worth the $ 21.72 we wasted.

Worst chicken ever. Had to be days old. Dried up and no taste. My wife and I both threw are meals in the trash. Local gas station totally agreed — terrible

This is one of the slowest and worst managed fast food places I’ve ever been. It took us 20 minutes to get through the drive through and they didn’t know our order when we got to the window. They were out of rice, didn’t include all of our food and overcharged us. To top it off, my husband’s burrito and taco wrappers were covered in sauce and soaking wet. If you are traveling on Hwy 35 and looking for a place to stop, DONOT stop here. If it wouldn’t have taken even longer, I would have gone inside to ask for my money back. It is an embarrassment for their management.

Just visited this fast food establishment and we were very disappointed. It took over 25 minutes to get through the drive-thru, we were given our Taco Bell and told to wait on the KFC. While waiting I looked through the bag and noticed the nacho cheese had a large very visible chunk of something in it, so when the lady returned we asked for a new one(which she clearly wasn’t happy about and acted like she didn’t believe me). We then got our KFC only to realize the chicken was completely cold and we had no napkins in either of our two bags. We stopped at this location because it was one of the first places we saw within 40 minutes, but my advice is to visit a different restaurant or keep driving… it’s not worth it.

We are on a road trip and thought we could stop for a fast and cheap dinner. Unfortunately, it took 22 minutes to receive 4 items, and it took 5 minutes to get the attention of a manager. Finally, the food was not prepared well. In terms of service, wait time, and quality of food, they only earned one star. I have added a second star because the manager ended up giving us a full refund. If you’re trying to make good time on the highway, do not waste your time here.

Very polite staff, even apologized that my order took so long, when in fact it was not prolonged. While waiting noticed one employee cleaning in the back. Also noticed the door to the office had most of the paint worn away from people leaning on it. Not really the employees fault when whoever owns the place won’t spend the coin to make it a nice environment. The soda dispenser for the diet Pepsi sprayed out all around the housing. Again, faulty equipment, not really the employees fault. I went inside to order and I suppose it was my fault that I didn’t grab any napkins or sauce, so there’s that too. It is fast food though, so take it with a grain of salt.(But you may have to get your own salt)

Driving thru on the way to Des Moines. The restaurant is dirty, floor is sticky, staff are rude, food is so-so. Drive on people don’t waste your money here. 0 stars if I could rate that way. Just hope I won’t get sick later.
