All I can say is… guns and booze in the same store. What more needs to be said. It’s your 1 stop shop. Get liquored up and kill someone… now if that doesn’t spell American than call me a Commie. I wanna live in a country where you can frivolously buy firearms and booze in the same store. They even sold the ammo too. No waiting periods. You go out get smashed and blast one of your neighbor’s cows by God. They got knives and bows and arrows too if you wanna go the silent way or don’t like guns. Best beer selection in Northern Missourri and Southern Iowa. And the only place to get kegs at a moment’s notice. Long live the Spirit Shoppe!

An oasis from the dribble we had to get by on in Lamoni. You could always count on The Spirit Shoppe to have a couple varieties of good beer available. They were the first I ever saw to stock Goose Island in the area. There’s a sweet barrel full of koozies, plus it has a nice selection of knives available at the glass counter in the front. And don’t forget to stock up on ammo after you buy your gun. Browse the selection of hats and sunglasses as your keg order is being filled. Or you can hang out front and smoke cigarettes. Man, I could spend all afternoon here.
