J&A South Park Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing

I had these guys out twice yesterday. One for a plumbing issue. He couldn’t do the work because american home shield wouldn’t pay for it. Not his fault. He helped as much as he could, gave good advice, was very professional and friendly. I asked him about my furnace. He was a plumber and didn’t do hvac repairs. He recommended a guy at his company who did. I called and requested him. He was there 20 minutes later. He had my furnace up and running in no time. Switched out a faulty part, looked for other issues, gave some good advice. Both guys were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Both guys where very generous when it came to pay my bill. I spent a lot less than I planned on paying. I spent so little that I felt bad about it. Id definitely use them again.

furnace broke during a cold spell. They came right away and I felt the price was very fair. Will definitely use them again.

J & A was designated to me through the gas company when we had an issue with the furnace. On the first visit the plumber who was sent informed me we needed a part and would have to order it. Fast forward a month later, I call J & A to see why a month has gone by and I’ve not heard from them. The person on the line says the part has been sitting in the office and she would schedule a service call. A different plumber now comes, he can’t make the part fit, needs to go to a hardware store, and comes back, doesn’t finish the job, says the furnace will work, it’s just going to be noisy and clang a bit. Three more weeks go by, we don’t hear from these «plumbers» so I call again. They inform me they’ll be out first thing in the morning. Finally at 1 pm someone shows up and puts the part on.
This seriously took two months and I had a noisy furnace for Christmas. Like I said as a tip, I would never recommend these guys to fix a leaky faucet. Terrible service…

The only reason that I would give this company 1 star is because I have to at least give 1 star. This is the worst service that I have ever received period, and I am an extremely easy going person. This is also my first Unilocal review I have ever done, because most of the time I like to give people the benefit of the doubt.
I was first contacted by this company through American Home Shield which is an insurance company that I have since I recently purchased my home and had to use them due to their contract with them.
J&A initially came out to look at a leaking faucet in my bath tub back in January and it is now March 24^th and he just left my house without me being there because I was at work and told my parents who had come over and wasted their time letting him in that he could not do the job.
i would never, ever refer this company to my worst enemy. I called to see what the issue was and they said the contractor would be in touch with me, it’s been 2 hours and I still have not heard back from him.
