Really good place to eat breakfast it’s clean neat and really quaint inside. Foods good coffee too. I like it during the week weekends are crowded.

We come here at least twice a month for breakfast. This place has very solid«diner» fare and the coffee is unexpectedly excellent. The eggs and pancakes tend to disappear quickly — and totally — from our plates. The owners and staff are very friendly and attentive. This has a great small-town diner feel; very welcoming and also very kid-friendly.

Great place for breakfast. Pancakes are always good and so is the French toast. Coffee is good. Not the best I’ve had but still good. Free refill too. Burgers are really tasty. Just watch out when it’s busy it’s hard to get a seat and the service isn’t as good. But still worth the wait. They only take cash. There is an ATM inside though. Info wish they would at least take debit cards.

Typical diner food. It’s solid and consistent but the service always seems a bit forced to me. I never feel completely relaxed when we eat there. This said, if you want a decent breakfast, it’s a good option, BUT go early or wait on the sidewalk for a table…

Best breakfast food in the area. Been going there since 1990 when we first moved into the area. First breakfast coffee that I actually enjoyed. Great service.

I saw an employee changing their babies diaper on the table 10 years ago. Ergo, I never went back. I hear their pancakes are good though, so two stars.

Thought I was going to be able to give a good review here. My husband and I stopped for a late breakfast after he shoveled snow at his place of employment. We were given coffee as soon as we sat down. After that we sat for a very long time waiting for our order to be taken. Our food was delivered by someone else. No one ever came back to ask how we were doing or if everything was okay. We didn’t get a refill on our coffee until a girl came back to take our plates away. We told her that no one had come back to see how we were doing or asked if we wanted more coffee. This girl did give us coffee. After that the girl that took our order came back and acted like she was trying to strike up a conversation with us. To late. Very disappointed in service here. If I could give less than one star this would be it.

I love the atmosphere, but the one waitress we always seem to get is awful enough that we will not be returning. She has dirty blonde hair and glasses. She only cares about tables that she knows. Never once comes back to refill coffee, doesn’t say a single word when paying, but suddenly wants to chat when you’re leaving a tip. The food is mediocre, I would say worse than typical diner food. Hash browns are always cold and not in the form of potatoes, toast is barely cooked with very little butter, French toast isn’t thoroughly cooked, and bacon is chewy. I would love to love this place but the waitress keeps me from coming back.

Just your average diner. The coffee was ok, the eggs were eggs, and the breakfast potatoes were not good. This place could be a place where everyone knows your name and that may add to the hype. But, no one knew our name and the food will not lure us back.

2.5 stars out of 5 = just your average every day diner. I don’t think anything was home made, egg salad, tuna salad, coleslaw all come out of big plastic food service bins. Same for the baked goods. That was disappointing eating that kind of food but it is a cute place nonetheless.

I Stop in not as often as I like but when I do it’s always great. I like their twist on eggs Benedict, Irish style with corned beef hash instead of Canadian bacon. Super menu and they really put the extra effort into everything.

I come here a lot. Always great food, great coffee and the best service. Jacqueline’s is definitely a Bethel must stop.

Love this place. If you want to enjoy a great breakfast without having to lift a pan, go here. It’s my go-to place when friends come for the weekend. Granted, I can cook a better meal from home, the service here is quick and the food is consistent. I highly recommended the Irish Eggs Benedict.

I’ve been eating at Jacqueline’s since we moved to Bethel in 2001. They are a great place for breakfast, which is served all day by the way. Only open until 3pm and they only take cash, but if you’re prepared then no worries. The owner and staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is always great. It can get busy on a Sunday morning, but again be prepared or have a short wait. Their omelets are very good as well as the huevos rancheros. My wife loves the fried chicken and the rueben. Portions are good sized and the prices are fair. The coffee is always great and plentiful. When it’s nice out you can sit out front on the sidewalk and watch the world go by. If you’re in Bethel, this is a great place to stop for breakfast or lunch, which for me is always breakfast!

Eh. My in-laws love this place, but I was unimpressed. 1. White, wheat, or rye bread only. No sourdough. 2. Omlette was flat. Not light or fluffy. Very dense and custard-y. The pieces of bacon in the omlette weren’t cut up very well. 3. Cash only. 4. Coffee was great. 5. Service was great. 3 stars for service.

Always a great place for breakfast. They have excellent specials as well as regular faire. It is all good. Their pancakes and waffles are especially good. The restaurant is always full but not annoyingly full. Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese is the best. You can linger here, enjoy your meal and talk. Have tried O’Neil’s just down the street but it is too small, too crowded and too many people hovering over you as you try to eat.

I had the french toast with sausage. Sausage was excellent. French toast Challah bread was too thick and dry. They should soak the bread longer in the egg mixture before grilling it. This would make it more moist. I would go back but I would never order the Challah bread French toast.

Went to Jacqueline’s on Sunday for breakfast. We sat right away although we would Have preferred to be outside because of the beautiful weather. Our waitress was very nice and the coffee was deeeelicious. I ordered the pancakes which were nice and fluffy. My husband ordered the hungry man special with a side of french toast. He loved it. We will definitely be going back.
