Jason has a very small company and is booked solid. Don’t expect to get a free estimate. He prefers you to have another company do the free estimate and he offers to beat their price… interesting way to conduct business. At this point I’m uncertain if I will call him back, but from my experience it’s never good to start a business transaction with a negative attitude.

Jason answered my phone call, arrived for the appointment to see our trees on time, and gave a reasonable estimate, As this was a small job to remove a couple of «weed trees» that were growing too close to our house, he was able to schedule a time when it was suitable for us and convenient for him to come late in the day so we saw his agile and truly professional style. He did what we asked for and more cutting away some branches of other tress that were encroaching on wires and our roof.

Their is nothing more menacing then having a tree land through the porch of a house especially a 120 foot 176 year old tree falls. Originally first 3 bids, from checkbook magazine were so outlandish; I had to at 45 years old and being female bring in my father an old pro Construction PM, to call on several more companies. Then I was given a local Contractor Arrow Professional Tree Service who works in Maryland, Virginia, DC. whom had 24 hour emergency services;and was fully insured. I was amazed as too having a bid that was fair for the job, which was a mammoth job, having Jason Rushell deal with me personally. Besides being, fair, firm and friendly he was able to be Professional, Prudent, and timely in appeasing the tenant, and cantankerous neighbors in the process. Neighbors got to love em, good, bad or indifferent. My situation merited true tact. Because my 2 neighbors re configured the 50 year old swains to facilitate their own interests engineering the drainage system by filling in the rain swains, without benefit of an engineer. Within a time frame of two years from a tornado they had compromised, themselves footings, structures and this house would have to pay for the water table rising 8 feet and the neighbors tree uprooting and falling into the tenants yard. Jason, was so professional, and capable my neighbors employed him to take down several small poplar trees as well as well the mighty oaks prior to a disaster. After the recent earthquake, many have consulted him regarding dead, or compromised trees, prior to a property damaging event, as well as tree trimming. To qualify for government subsidies from the Irene hurricane, and document any changes in the earth moving trees, and compromising their properties. After managing properties for 32 years, preventive measures cost less, I highly recommend him… He also, informed me he likes to keep healthy trees healthy, Quality tree care by a professional, licensed, certified Arborist. I highly recommend him…
