Consistently good(big) burgers. Haven’t tried any of their fancy ones, just the palace classic but I’ve never been disappointed. Plus you can add chips to your burger. Isn’t America the best? I love their sweet potato fries, they are the perfect texture. They offer a half-and-half option for sides so you can also try their regular fries with the special fry sauce(so good!). You can also choose your protein so if you don’t want a regular beef burger you can sub chicken or turkey. Minus 1 star for the price and the fact that the bun is always soggy. Wish they were a few dollars cheaper. But the burgers are delicious and I would definitely recommend this place!

Their fry sauce is great! Some sort of chipotle mayo heaven! Very accommodating in terms of modifying orders.

It was ok. The burger was decent. Choose the Bobby blue. Blue cheese, bacon, burger, and cheese… The burger was cooked as I specified. The bacon was crispy. As soon as I picked it up it was all drippy… All over everything… I tried all the sauces. I’m not a big fan. I think there is a lot of sugar or something in them. Won’t be using them again. The best of them was the jalapeño hot sauce. Had an order of the sweet potato fries. Decent portion for the price but way overcooked and lacking flavor. Except hard crispy flavor… There was a dipping sauce… Horseradish mustard… But I didn’t taste any horse radish… Tried the fries. At least not cooked to a crisp. The sauce was chipotle I think. Not too bad. For the price I expected more… With so many other choices in the mall… I can’t say I’d give them another shot.

I was going to wait until I got my food but seeing as though it’s been almost an hour since I ordered. I’m gonna go ahead and leave my review. This location is severely understaffed. There are 4 people working… the place is packed… and it’s the day before NYE. I wish I could have given a review of my food but I’m starving, and I’m about to just ask for a refund. Please do better Bobby’s Burger Palace.

Burgers! I know it’s a burger francaise but I do have to say I was not disappointed. Burgers are delicious and for bit of a gimmicky restaurant it still holds it’s down. Value isn’t the best but I would still recommend it over any place in the food court at the mall.

We were initially going to cheese cake factory but the wait was kind of long so we decided to come here but it wasn’t all that to me I got a turkey burger but it didn’t taste any different than one I could make myself… I would go back but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here… The staff was very nice… maybe next time I’ll have to try something else

As with the trend lately, «celebrity» chefs attach their names to a popular fad or concept and enter the market to gain some market share. The current fad: the«gourmet» or «different» burger chain. The«celebrity»: Bobby Flay of Food Network fame. I don’t have anything against Bobby, but this place is average at best. While the staff is always pleasant when I’ve gone, the food prices tend to give me pause. Perhaps this is just the cost of rent being passed down to the customer, but the price of a burger here is not worth it. Not at that size and not with that flavor. You start with a protein(I typically get turkey) then decide if you want to «crunchify» your burger, which means you can further add to America’s already out of control obesity epidemic by adding nasty American cheese and potato chips to your burger. Spell it with me– Y U C K Then you can choose additional toppings via the geographic location they are famous for, for instance Philadelphia’s being provolone, onions and peppers. An ode to the Philly cheesesteak; which btw-I ate at BBP’s in Philly(it was just as mediocre as this place)…then choose sides if you want any and a drink. The sides were forgettable, but I must admit-this place makes a great chocolate malt, and that’s it’s one redeeming value for me. While the burgers are small and the sides are nothing special, if you like shakes and malts I suggest you check this place out. In a nutshell, if you’re trolling for a burger, this isn’t the place for you. But, if you’d like a good shake, you should check this place out. The shake alone moved this from a 2 star to a 3 star review. That should tell you something.

I was hoping for good burgers like Shake Shack or something. Instead they were burgers in between the level of McDonald’s and Five Guys. five Guys is way better. The burgers were pretty pricey for a mediocre, very tiny burger with not much to it. I ordered the Dallas and Vegas. I ordered them both«crunchified» which is adding potatoe chips inside the burger. They also have extra sauces: jalepeno(tastes like knock off Tabasco jalepeno), chipotle ketchup(ketchup with a small kick, I liked this one), burger sauce(some sweet concoction version BBQ but didn’t taste like any BBQ at the same time; I didn’t like it). Vegas — I didn’t know it wouldn’t come without lettuce and other stuff. It was just: bun, cheese, beef patty, peppers, chips. It was the most bare burger I’ve ever been over charged for. The beef wasn’t even tender but it was so oily that the bottom bun was so soggy. Dallas — this burger came with more stuff: coleslaw and pickles. The coleslaw was ver bland with no taste. I needed to drown it in chipotle ketchup regardless of the BBQ sauce inside. The pickle over powered everything. They used a sweet BBQ sauce. The bun was also very soggy. The only thing decent was the half and half(they let you get half fries and half onion rings which equaled two tiny onion rings) and the strawberry milkshake. The fries and onion rings were crispy. The fries are more like Boardwalk fries. The milkshake was thick and you can taste the strawberry ice cream. It’s not like McDonald’s shake where it’s like strawberry yoohoo. I would pick Five Guys anytime over BBP. I wouldn’t recommend or ever go back. Not with the money for edible burgers that sound creative but come out as a rip off.

Came here for a lunch with a few co-workers. I’ve actually been eyeing this place since it opened a location at College Park, Maryalnd. I had the original crunch burger which is a normal cheeseburger with potato chips in between the top bun and burger patty. The burger was juicy, not at all mediocre. It was a bit on the salty side but i think it was the chips that made it a bit saltier than normal. I was surprised that the burger didn’t have any veggies in it — you know, the usual tomato and lettuce, that was a bit disappointing. I like how the burger was a good size, i finished the whole thing — and didn’t feel stuffed, but i was satisfied :) They do have a variety of unconventional burgers to try… which i really liked too. This place is definitely not your average plain jane burger place. The fries and sweet potato fries were really delicious, very crispy and you can tell they double fry those babies! It was goooood. The staff and service was awesome too. Very friendly and welcoming! Overall, the food was good, no complaints, decent prices, but i won’t go out of my way to come back here if i had a burger craving.

I enjoyed the Philly cheesesteak inspired burger. It was really good. Like others have stated, I wish it was bigger. For these prices the burgers should be half-ponders. The sweet potato fries were delicious. The only thing about this place I don’t like is the communal seating. Also the location is not the best. BBP should be closer to the food court. I would definitely consider this restaurant the next time I’m at the mall. A nice adult milkshake is a great way to start/end a shopping trip.

I love Bobbys burger place for four reasons. 1.) their spiked milkshakes. What a fun way to fun up a milkshake? It’s a milkshake for adults. FYI: if you order the spiked milkshake you cannot take it outside of the restaurant because of the liquor. My favorite was the bourbon milkshake. It’s calories for a purpose! It’s calories on a mission! 2.) their sweet potato fries and the house honey mustard sauce that accompanies the sweet potato fries. The honey mustard sauce is a perfect flavor profile for the sweet, salty and crunchy fries. The house honey mustard sauce has a tangy wasabi taste. 3.) their juicy burgers and the wide range of fixings. You can get a different themed burger so your burgers are never dull. The burger itself is perfect medium so it is pink in the middle. It’s a tender and juicy patty! 4.) their quick and friendly service. This place is a party in your mouth!

I visited bobby’s burger palace today first time(4÷14÷15). It wasn’t crowded when i arrived placed my order, handed a # card my coffee milk shake came first, a few minute later my burger«bobby’s palace burger»(lettuce, tomato, red onion). Great burger! Fresh toppings crunchy & flavorful. Shake great coffee taste. Real plus«real cream» whipped cream. The shake was really thick-served w/thick straw & a real metal spoon. Service good. Worth a second visit.

Great themed burgers for under $ 10! I’ve been in the area for under 2 weeks, and I’ve already tried 4 of their burgers, their onion rings, and their sweet potato fries. I love burgers, and whenever a place as a good and not too overwhelming variety, I’d love to try them all. The 4 that I’ve tried are: Dallas Burger — Spice Crusted /Coleslaw /Monterey Jack /BBQ Sauce /Pickles. This was very flavorful, and I enjoyed it a lot even though I’m not much of a Coleslaw fan. Philadelphia Burger — Provolone Cheese /Griddled Onions /Hot Peppers. I expected this one to be spicy, but the peppers didn’t do it for me. It was one of the blander burgers I’ve tried, but it was still good. I just expected more heat. L.A. Burger — Avocado Relish /Watercress /Cheddar Cheese /Tomato. It tastes very«LA-ish,» so they got that part right. I love the avocado, cheese, and tomato. The watercress was«just there.» BBP also crunchify burgers free of charge(add chips to burger), and this one works better without being crunchified. Brunch Burger — Fried Egg /Smoked Bacon /American Cheese. I love burgers with egg. SOOOGOOD and so satisfying cutting that yolk so that it spills over. Mmmmm. The burgers were good, but my different visits were not consistent. One thing that bothered me the most was that sometimes the meat was over salted that it took over the taste of the burger. Their onion rings are great — very big and crunchy. One order contains 5 rings, and if you order the half and half side with the rings as one of the sides, it comes with 2 rings. Their sweet potato fries were a bit bland, but they were good. They weren’t over seasoned so you can enjoy it with the sauces that they have. The tables contain a tray with a variety of their sauces — a jalapeño sauce, burger sauce, chipotle ketchup, mustard, and ketchup. My favorites are the burger sauce and the chipotle ketchup. In addition to the big city /place themes, they have an additional burger each month. For example, January 2015’s burger was the Canadian burger. I’m excited to see what other seasonal themed burgers they have to offer. BBP is not a traditional restaurant setting. You go in, order, grab a number, find seating. Food gets brought to you. Tables can be limited, as they aren’t «private» unless you are in a large group and manage to find a table for the whole group. Most of the time(especially when they’re busy), you’ll need to share with others. It’s not the place to go if you want to eat in a traditional restaurant setting, but it’s definitely a great casual place to try/frequent if you like different burgers. Yes, you can sub the beef patty with other protein and such. Let’s hope you get the good chefs so that the patties aren’t overly salted to bury the taste of the toppings!

As this place is basically a hamburger place, it is best compared with such places as Five Guys or Fuddruckers. And it suffers in the comparison. You get bigger burgers for less at both Five Guys and Fuddruckers, and I think the burgers are tastier at the other places too. At Five Guys, you pick your toppings, so each patron can customize his burger to have exactly what he wants on it. At Fuddruckers, there are some set combinations(one of which I really like, so I usually order it) but if you want, again you can order each topping that you want singly. Not so here. All they have are the set combinations, and most of them have something(like mustard or onions) that I really dislike. When I was trying to figure out what I could order, the woman behind the counter suggested the Miami, which had mustard(which I absolutely detest) and when I told her that that was a problem, she said they could do it without the mustard. And they did. So it is possible at least to customize it that far. But you can’t order just whatever combination of toppings you want; that is not an option here. And it’s strange. One of the ingredients of the Miami is ham. There certainly was ham that I could see on my burger, but it was the most tasteless ham I’ve ever had. It could have not been there for all it did for the taste. The burger was rather small. Given that for a burger, an order of fries, and a drink I paid about 40% more than I’d have paid at Five Guys(and approximately the same amount over what I’d have paid at Fuddruckers), getting such a small burger was definitely not a good deal. The fries were a decent-size portion, but still a smaller one than I’d have gotten at Five Guys. So certainly on a value-for-price basis, this place is inferior to the other places. One positive thing is that the fries come with a rather nice dipping sauce. I normally don’t want to put anything on French fries other than salt. But the dipping sauce here complemented the fries rather well. Yet even here there is a negative point: they don’t give you enough sauce. I could have used at least 50% more than what they gave me. I normally do not like to review a place based on a single visit. But I don’t expect to be here again any time soon, and I thought it necessary to post this review even though I’ve only been here once. I might come back in the summer, to sample their shakes(they have some interesting flavors, but not up to the number that Z-Burger has). But there are much better alternatives for burgers & French fries.

Bobby’s Burger Palace is ok. The burgers are OK at best. I ordered a Crustified Dallas — That consisted of «Spice Crusted — Cole Slaw — Monterey Jack — BBQ Sauce — Pickle — Potato Chips — It wasn’t bad at all. But it was nothing to get excited about. The employees are ok, The standard«hey, welcome, how are you?» — I asked what the cashier’s favorite burger was or any good suggestions… I got nothing. NBD though, still a friendly person. But for the price of the burger, I personally do not think it was worth it. Plus side of my experience though, the food came out quick! So at best, it would be a great place to go to grab a quick bite, sit down, and run.

Was craving a good burger so headed to bobby’s burger palace to dig in. Been here before and the burger didn’t dissappoint. Really cool and different atmosphere, beer is available(5 – 6 types). I ordered the Carolina burger plus bacon with onion rings. You can crunchify any burger by adding chips to your burger(nice touch). Burger was cooked as ordered, bacon cooked to perfection, warm soft bun, cheese, nice and melted. I hate getting burgers with un melted cheese. Onion rings were big and crispy, about 5 to an order. The person who served us or food was very nice and attentive. Overall, a positive experience.

I was really excited to give this place a try. BP and I came in for lunch on a Monday(took off work) and were really happy with our experience. It took a while for me to understand the way to order(you pay for the toppings), but I liked adding the chips to the burger. The burgers were cooked very well, the fries were tasty and we also split a mint-choco shake. It was divine. Worth a try! I like the décor a lot! So trendy :)

Good burger place in Montgomery Mall, next to Cheesecake Factory(like Maryland Live). You order from counter and grab a seat(hope you like sitting next to strangers!). Their burgers look small but it is a very thick and filing burger, and 90% of the time cook your burger to your specifications. I like the LA Burger, Dallas burger, and their blue cheese burger. Their jalopeno sauce was the best of their various sauces. Kicks it up a notch. Their fries with their sauces are fantastic too. Really want to try their spiked milkshakes next time(when I was last there still pending liquor license). I compare this place closely to a BGR but I wonder how this place will do since Kraze Burger and a new McDonald’s in the mall food court recently opened.
