I have been a loyal Patient since 1980. Dr. Buchanan has been terrific and I have a fabulous smile if I say so myself. I usually visit at least one a year for a cleaning. On my last visit Dr Buchanan fitted me with a mouthpiece because I have been grinding my teeth at night. That fixed the problem. He also helped me with «Whitening,» my teeth. Everyone comments how white my teeth are and it makes me look younger. Also, he’s pretty good about squeezing you in at the last minute. Tracy

Dr. Buchanan was my dentist for roughly 17 years. I thank him for the fact that I am constantly complimented on my teeth and that my dental problems consist of one cavity courtesy of the US Navy. He is so knowledgeable and doesn’t treat his patients as business but rather, as patients. I have finally been lucky enough, after a 10 year gap, to find another family dentist in my small town in Hawaii but professionals like Dr, Buchanan are extremely hard to find nowadays. If you are within distance of his office in the metro area — please see this man!

I’ve gone to Dr. B since I was a little kid, and never had anything but great experiences. He remembers me, my family, asks about them — makes it a very personal experience. Also, I had one dentist 2 – 3 years back try to convince me that I needed $ 800 worth of dental work done; Dr. Buchanan said that was totally wrong. He is not somebody who sees you as a business opportunity, but rather as a person worthy of respect. All in all, if you want a dentist that you can trust, who does all of his work on his own and does a great job at that, this is the place for you to go.

Absolute best dentist. Never late, cleans all the teeth himslef even for the cleaning. Doesn’t mess around and drag it out. Receptionist is super knowlegeable as well. He is only open til about 1PM everyday i think, probably because he is the man and has a life outside of cleaning teeth. I love him.
