Cedar Lane Nursery School

Between my 2 kids we are in our 6^th year at CLNS. We have loved every minute of it. It is a joy to be in the classroom with your child and to see him or her grow and learn and become a more confident parent by learning from the teachers and parents. Learning through play is a highly effective method and has made both of my children love school, love learning and has more than prepared them for Elementary. However, most importantly, it has developed them into confident, compassionate children who know how to get along in the world, all while giving them early literacy and math skills. CLNS is set in a church (but is unaffiliated with it) in a beautiful, wooded setting. The classrooms have large windows overlooking the trees and natural beauty. There is plenty of time for outside and free play in addition to story/​circle time and more directed learning (once they are a bit older). There is a music class every other week and a French music class as well. There are both in school and out of school field trips, the teachers are excellent and caring and the small atmosphere allows them to get to know every child and family personally. I really can’t say enough good things about CLNS!
