We first moved to the DC area in May, 1996. When we bought our 1956 colonial, the home inspector warned us that the outdoor AC unit was 25+ years old, and we should start saving to buy a new one. Sure enough, within three weeks of moving in, a heat wave hit our area and the AC failed. Gary Frank Inc. was recommended and came right away. The technician was ever so courteous, knowledgeable, and informative – and he fixed the air conditioning by cleaning out all of the leaf and other debris that had built up around the unit. We were again reminded how old the unit was, but no one was hard-​selling a new AC unit. Indeed, that 25-​year old unit lasted until August 2010, when a crippling heat wave gripped us once again. In the 14 intervening years, we had an annual service contract with Gary P. Frank, and they came twice a year to monitor and keep our systems up and running. In the 20 years that we have been serviced, Gary Frank’s technicians have all been knowledgeable and professional. We have since replaced the heating unit as well, and did so with confidence, knowing that the equipment recommended by this service company was reliable. The company has always been responsive and reliable, and we could not recommend them more highly.

Gary P Frank, Inc installed gas hot water heater in March 2015. 3 of them came on time. They were very polite, very professional, and finished in a timely manner. The work was well done. They clean up after finishing it. I’ll recommend to anybody. Thank you.

Due to a power surge, the compressors to both my air conditioner units burnt out. I called Gary P Frank at 8 am and and by 9 am knowledgable gentleman by the name of Jesse arrived and by 10 everything was fixed and running. They have a very courteous office staff as well.

Last year, Gary P. Frank, Inc., installed a new AC unit and we were very satisfied with the work of the technicians and the performance of the unit. In early May, 2014, apparently due to a power surge following a power outage, the compressor and its wires were destroyed. Gary assessed the situation, installed a new unit, submitted a claim on our behalf to the AC manufacturer and assisted us in filing an insurance claim. In addition, while the crew was installing the new AC, they detected a gas leak in the near by gas generator and other major flaws in the installation of the unit which was done by another contractor. The crew fixed all of the above at no charge. We were very satisfied with the service provided and highly recommend this firm.
