Episodes of pain were assessed and explained away, but crack in the tooth under filing was found later on. Impossible to tell if it could have been detected earlier, but I do believe that after repeated visits, Dr. Herman did not believe there was a crack and therefore it was harder to «find» it. Obviously this is speculation on my part. That said, referral for tooth extraction was not the best; efforts to maintain bone could have been better according to an endodontist I saw later. That said, I felt I was always treated warmly as a patient and trust his good intentions. I believe this was a learning experience for all of us, and Dr. Herman likely would not have the same tendency (which I speculated him to have) in the future.

Dr. Herman and his team are wonderful. I’ve been seeing this dentist for about 2.5 years and have been very happy with their service and care for their patients. They are very organized; they send you either an email or text to confirm the appointment a few days before instead of phone call, if you prefer. They have early and late hours to accommodate work and school schedules and I never had a problem scheduling a convenient time for me. They also are always on time. I rarely wait to be seen by the hygienist for a cleaning or by the dentist for an exam.
They provide high-​quality dental health care and do not try to sell you services/​products that you don’t need. Their costs are reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Herman and his team!
