This place sets the bar for all other delivery/carryout joints in Bethesda. The owner’s customer service is excellent, and the food ALWAYS arrives warm(obviously aside from cold items such as their kulafi, which, by the way, is fantastic!) AND fast! My only complaint is that they close kind of early! I’m sincerely hoping that the recent population growth in downtown Bethesda will nudge them to reconsider their operating hours!!!

My favorite pizza place in the area. Try the specialty pizzas, spicy Thai or spicy chicken curry are both great. Curries are great too. Friendly staff and quick service!

Vegetarian Review: This place has clearly created a niche in Bethesda by serving cheapish Indian food with exotic Pizza and whole host of other stuff. The vegetarian curries are not bad but are on the oily side. The Punjabi Bharta was the sole stand out excellent item as they roasted it. Prices are not as cheap as you think because the quantity is low. The paneer pizza was similar to what they serve in Indian at Dominos. It’s great because no one else in the area has it. Price is very high though. Over $ 18 for a 14″ pizza with average ingredients. It does not use gourmet ingredients only ‘exotic’ ones. I’ll be back on the occasion but will not be my go to spot for either Indian food or pizza, particularly on the weekend when this small place has a very difficult time keeping up with the demand.

Got carry out. One spicy chicken curry pizza(AMAZING), two orders of samosas(aka 4 samosas, good sauce but quite small, very affordable at $ 1.50 per order), and one honey pillows(can I eat these every day?). The honey pillows looked like a lot in the container… but I’m pretty sure I could have polished it off all on my own. All that for $ 28 and we split it between 3 people and had leftover pizza? So worth it! Will be back soon!

Ordered from here 2 times now. The indian food is authentic, just spicy enough, and flavorful. The curry chicken, palak paneer, and chicken makhani are all good. The curry chicken pizza is amazing! Moved from NJ/NY and haven’t found a good pizza slice until here! Must order. The owner is was so kind even though the order took a long time and he reached out and genuinely apologized. Update 4 months later: –still love this place and their food. Don’t waste your money spending $ 15-$ 18 for some other Indian place in Bethesda, it’s always the smaller and non-fancy places that have the best flavor

The spicy curry chicken pizza is incredible!!! Discovered this place when I temporarily lived in the area. But it’s so good that I sometimes still go out of my way to get it. I’ve tried the Thai pizza as well, which was also very good. The only downside in my opinion is the lack of parking and they close early for a pizza place.

This place is so good! I love the variety– Indian, Mediterranean, pizza. My go tos– chicken vindaloo(ridiculously spicy in a good way) and the build your own calzone. It is a huge portion for 12 $ — I always get two meals out of it. This is our fav place for delivery!

I have never been disappointed with m&n. I ordered garlic cheese bread and received them without cheese but also very burnt. So disappointed/: My wings were burnt too :(

My co-workers and I ordered lunch today and my order was not of delightful one when it was delivered. Even though I ordered a Salad, it was less satisfying to the eye as it was very bland & inundated with the lettuce overflow & scarce veggies. I am firm believer just because you can’t partake in Pizza due to some allergens; one should still be able to enjoy a great salad… nothing like an Italian inspired salad! This is where the Manager Manoch comes in. Although my co-workers were ok with their meat filled selections, I was left out at the lunchtime gathering as my plastic container was oozing with rabbit food. I called the store with a Unilocally manner just to share my experience and Manoch was a CHAMP! He apologized from the door, repeated a few times the exact amount of veggies that should have been on the salad(I was so tickled) and assured me that regardless of the new staff on hand, the proper preparation must be adhere too. He was so serious about his craft, it was refreshing not to get the«I’m sorry your order wasn’t complete» and then we hear crickets. He offered me a «do over» for my salad for today, I told him no worries I wasn’t hungry anymore, and before I could say anything else, he stated my next order would be free. Again, it’s never our intent to get free things by Unilocaling, as our effort is to bring awareness of the good, the bad & the ugly of customer service we endure when visit an establishment. Yet when we are offered such a great concession, it’s our Unilocalin’ duty to bring that same awareness back full circle. :-)

Kind service and great value! If you have a group of people who want different eats, it is a lifesaver for delivery and the prices are excellent. The spaghetti with meatballs was a hit with the kiddo. The Indian food was good and I love spice, but even for me it was too spicy. However, the tastes were good beneath the heat and compared to other shops, the prices honest. I love that we can get pizza here and whatever else. nice customer service, if a touch slow.

First visit tonight was awesome. Cheese pizza was a solid home run with the kids. Curry pizza was fabulously spicy and flavorful with lots of cilantro. Chicken Vindaloo was perfect portion for one person– spicy as advertised and flavorful. Looking forward to coming back– wish it hadn’t taken so long for us to get there. Had great discussion with the friendly owner– he gave us a little history on the unusual building and had solid menu suggestions. As a bonus: nice upscale outdoor plaza to eat in a few short steps away with a lovely water feature…

Such a cute mom-and-pop operation with great curry, fusion pizza, and friendly people. We ordered a ton – butter chicken curry($ 4.99!), saag paneer($ 3.99), garlic naan($ 1.75), samosas($ 2), chicken curry pizza. It was all delish, and such a great value. It’s a little hard to find – in a round, hut type building on the west side of the street, but it is a real gem! Thanks, Unilocal! We’ll be back!

This place rocks. The concept of Indian pizza needs to spread more widely because I’m not sure if I can live anywhere without spicy chicken curry pizza again. First off, as a straight-up pizza place, this is pretty damn good. I’ve had their deluxe and a few others, all of which held up well and were just solid take-out pizza. The deluxe in particular is really good with tons of toppings, but it still manages to not be sloppy or greasy. The Indian pizza is where this place shines though. Both of the Indian pizzas are great, but the spicy chicken curry pizza might be my favorite pizza ever. The spicy part comes from bunches of chili flakes instead of the curry itself, but it’s still just *so* good. The paneer pizza is also great if you have somebody vegetarian, but it’s not quite as good as the chicken curry. The place is also adorable. It’s in a little brick mushroom hut in downtown Bethesda and run by a husband and wife who are always incredibly friendly. Even when I called to explain my mother’s food allergies they were both patient and thorough. Next, I need to work through the rest of the menu if I can ever stop eating the chicken curry pizza.

First off — the guy who owns this place is the nicest. He would be reason enough to come here, but luckily, the food is delicious. I’ve gotten the cheese slices the most — a perfectly good slice, and I’m saying this as someone who grew up in the tri-state area. Plus, they’re $ 2.25 each or something like that, so two slices and a soda for $ 5.50 is basically the cheapest eats you’re going to find in Bethesda. I’ve also gotten the garlic naan and butter chicken — the naan is basically pizza dough with garlic on it, but for the price, it’s a big naan, and the butter chicken is good and also the perfect serving size for one person. Samosas are okay — not the big, cone samosas of my youth, but good. A special mention to the spicy curry chicken pizza. It is spicy as hell — my lips were numb after two slices. But it is delicious. If you’ve ever had pizza in India before, try it out, because you’ll definitely like it. Not shy with the coriander, which I really appreciate!

I have eaten at M & N many times and was surprised I forgot to review this place. This place is easy to find, just look for the brick round hut of happiness. This magical hut serves the best pizza in the area. All pizza is for the most part good, there are very few that are outstanding and this is certainly one of those places. Of course, I get the cheese pizza every time; don’t want to taint the purity of the pizza. The dough is fresh, never over cooked and the sauce and cheese perfectly compliment it. The owner appears as happy as I am when I eat their pizza… he knows they have good stuff. Now here is the only bad part; in addition to the best pizza in the area they also have a curry menu. The first time I entered this place I had a hard time deciding which to try; so of course I had the pizza and then had the Paneer Kadhai. You already know how I feel about the pizza and if I say it again I will have to go get some pizza. The paneer was great, spicy, complex flavor that went great with the paneer. I have also tried the butter chicken and chicken vindaloo; both also very good. I think the chicken vindaloo is my favorite from the curry menu… mmmm, spicy chicken vindaloo with a rich flavor that comes through the heat. Finally, it should not be surprising that the naan here is also outstanding. This is a must try pizza place, you wont regret it. Do try some of the specialty pizzas, everyone I go with orders a specialty pizza and loves it.

Ordered a Sunday dinner of garlic wings and the spicy chicken curry pizza and wasn’t disappointed! First– appreciated the place for taking my delivery order at 840 pm when they close at 9 pm. The order arrived within 30 mins and was fresh. The spicy chicken pizza was spicy but very tasty! The best part was the cilantro! Enjoyed the wings as well! Cannot wait to try everything else!

Ok, they may or may not have gotten an extra ½ to a full star for being super close to my friend’s place and delivering INDIANFOOD! We ordered the following: Butter chicken — Perfectly cooked chicken, good flavor but definitely more on the tomato-y side rather than the creamy tomato-ness I’m used to. The sauce was definitely more red than the lovely orangey stuff I’m used to. Palak paneer(spinach with cheese) — The paneer was tasty and so was the spinach. However, either the spinach was frozen or they just pulsed the hell out of it. I prefer the spinach to still resemble its natural self so that was a drawback for me. Daal(yellow lentils) — Hope I spelled that right. Decent flavor and texture. No issues here. The plain naan and the garlic naan were good too. I’m a fan and will be ordering more Indian food from M&N in the future.

Wanted to get some pizza for take out, and M&N’s seemed like a really good choice based on both Unilocal reviews and proximity. Tried out their spicy chicken curry pizza, as well as the vegetarian pizza. The crust was nice and soft, cooked just right. And as for the topping, the spicy chicken curry pizza quickly made itself home at the top of my favorite pizza list. Overall, a must try, for their variety and the indian twist to the pizza toppings.

This is a cool spot. Interesting pizza options. We got the Paneer Pizza and the Spicy Thai Pizza. Both of them were pretty tasty. They have a really nice outdoor seating area. But they don’t have an alcohol licence for the outside area so if you buy beer or wine there you can’t drink it outside, which kinda sucks. The guy working there was super friendly and came outside a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. ALSO — he was super mindful about recycling, which I thought was really cool and appreciated.
