Why would I subtract 5% of my gift to pass it to a third party? I love the charity that I donate to, but I don’t think using this«non-profit owned for profit» company is a good idea. I can use my checking bill pay to send checks directly to my charity so that 100% goes to help. They do track donations and accept credit cards and paypal. But it appears to also gather information to solicit more donations, but this is more of a suspicion based on the sales information list on their website of their product to non-profit agencies. No thanks

Our nonprofit organization was brought in with the promise of a 6 month contract at half off the monthly price(normally $ 99) and a matching donation from Network for Good of $ 25 per first donation on each website(normally it’s $ 50 but they reduced it since we would be paying half price). They said it was normally a 12 month contract so they were doing us a favor. Once we signed they told us that we would be charged $ 99/a month because they couldn’t get us the half price deal. The actual fundraising tools are NOT worth the money– nothing you can’t do with a savvy IT/Social networking team. This was a waste of money. If you are a nonprofit looking for a fundraising platform, I highly recommend Razoo.

This organization charges 3% utilizing paypal to gather donations for non-profit and charitable organizations. I believe their tools are somewhat out of date, and they are inefficient/ineffective at their mission. 3% should bring a much higher level of customer service. They do not automatically email you an end of year statement for your charitable contributions. The website deleted my login information. When called on the phone, I waited 40 minutes, but no one ever answered. I was prompted to «push 8 and we will call you back». When I did this, the response on the phone was«that is an invalid entry». If you want to terminate a monthly payment to a charitable organization, this could be very difficult. Think long and hard before you sign up to have your donations go through Network for Good, as stopping may be almost impossible.
