Peck Gary L MD

Saw Dr. Peck today for a skin check. I had melanoma in situ 2.5 years ago, and several other atypical moles removed. I switched to Tamjidi Skin institute this past year. I have seen Dr. Gerson twice, who is very sweet and an excellent doctor. She has told me that she has seen nothing of present concern on my skin but suggested I make an appointment with Dr. Peck, a melanoma specialist, because of my melanoma in situ history at a young age (I’m 30) for peace of mind. I thought Dr. Peck was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He said he did not see anything concerning during the exam and I trust his opinion. Whats more, I feel that even if he did see something concerning, I would feel like I was in good hands. He did not make me feel guilty for having melanoma in situ at a young age, as my previous dermatologist (at a different practice) did. If you have had melanoma before and have concerns about future occurrences, I suggest making an appointment with Dr. Peck.
Warning: he only works on Thursdays and you have to make the appointment at least a month ahead. But it’s worth it!
