Great therapists and such a friendly environment. People of all ages with different physical therapy needs come here. Their Pilate classes are also very good. Definitely recommend. Next to the mall and highway. Easy access

I came to Precision Health and Fitness because my physical therapist moved there recently, and am I glad she did! For physical therapy, Precision offers so much more than any physical therapy operation I am familiar with. The therapy occurs in spacious individual rooms, which offer not only privacy, but no interruptions. Having each therapy session go for 60 minutes is a true luxury — at the previous place, it was only 30 minutes. In addition, having access to the gym and the pilates equipment to augment physical therapy is a big bonus.
Marcie Schwartz is the newest physical therapist to join Precision, and she’s terrific. She’s had several years of experience elsewhere, and has a seemingly endless bag of tricks to make your body work and feel better. In addition, she has interesting exercises for you to do at home that are easy to follow and productive to do. I’m a physician, so when I tell you she’s extremely knowledgeable about body mechanics, I have some basis for comparison. And perhaps the best thing is that she listens to the client and provides highly individualized therapy to meet the client’s needs.
Precision is clean and modern and has a helpful front desk. Appointments are easily made by phone or by emailing the therapist or trainer, and your receipt is emailed to you. I like this electronic approach. Yes, I wish they participated with insurers so I didn’t have to fill out the paperwork, but that’s a minor thing. I’m thrilled that Marcie joined Precision so that I could have this great experience!

I am a complicated case. If not for Dr. Therese McNerney and Precision Health & Fitness, I believe I would be permanently crippled today.
I found Dr. McNerney through a personal recommendation from a local Brain/​Spine surgeon following surgery. At the time, he told me that if I wanted the absolute best therapist in the area, I needed to see Dr. Therese McNerney at Precision Health & Fitness. He was absolutely right… she is an incredibly gifted and talented healer.
Therese is very well connected and respected within the Washington Metro medical community. She is smart, funny and extremely comfortable with her own excellent healing skills. Equally important, she is a fabulous communicator. Her patients are very important to her. So important, in fact, that Therese takes the time to work closely via phone, e-​mail, and face-​to-​face (alongside her patient) with surgeons, physiatrists, osteopaths, aquatic therapists and/​or masseurs. Therese knows them all and they value and encourage her input, observations and educated opinions regarding the care of the patient.
After extensive hands-​on therapy, Dr. McNerney has designed and continues to update my personal Pilates program. I purchased a Pilates machine for my home gym and regularly inform Dr. McNerney of my progress. Her skilled guidance and valuable suggestions have been very successful for my care, and key to my recovery.
If you want the absolute best possible fitness program and care, I strongly suggest you look at what is available at Precision Health & Fitness. Therese runs a very professional and successful business, hiring only superior local talent. I cannot recommend this facility and the amazing Dr. McNerney more highly.

I bought a groupon type deal for three personal training sessions with Brandon, not really knowing what to expect. I got there a little early, and he started me early, which was great. He had me fill out a questionnaire via email before I had come, so he knew about me already, which was nice, and took into consideration my limitations from previous injuries.
He was very energetic, personable and knowledgable. But the thing that spoke most loudly about him was the way he dealt with a problem I had. For the first time ever, I got extremely dizzy and nauseous during our workout. (He is tough!) I had to sit down and felt really faint. As a former college athlete, I was embarrassed. Not only was he concerned and made me feel less self-​conscious, he scheduled me for another full training session– even though this happened toward the end of ours. I fully understood that it was my body, my fault, and did not expect a replacement, but he scheduled me for two days later instead. He could have told me tough luck, see you next time, and my first session would have ended like that. Instead, he is going the extra mile, and for that, I am grateful. He also gave me diet tips and texted me later that night tro remind me to eat! He really seems to care about his clients. Definitely recommend going to him.

I found this little gym about a year ago because I was unsatisfied with other gyms I have belonged to in the Bethesda/​Rockville area (Fitness First and Gold’s). I really liked the fact that you do not need to sign a contract with Precision and although they offer monthly memberships, you can also buy class cards, which is good for me since I am not an extremely structured exerciser. Also, they offer both fitness classes, equipment, and physical therapy, which appealed to me since I’ve had multiple injuries the past few years that have been affecting my activity level.
Precision is in one of the office parks in the Rockledge area and is nothing fancy in terms of its looks and doesn’t fall into the category of a «bargain gym,» but the classes I’ve been to (spin, yoga, and pilates reformer) are FABULOUS and are worth every penny! They are challenging, and the instructors really pay attention to what you are doing and make an effort to introduce themselves to new people in their classes, learn your name, and help you adjust as needed to really perform the exercises correctly. They are also great about asking if you have any injuries that limit some of your movements and help you modify as needed.
Besides the great classes, the people who attend the classes are much friendlier than in any gym I’ve belonged to EVER, which is pretty refreshing.
The only down side is they do not offer too much in the evenings in terms of classes… so I am trying my best to become a morning exerciser. It’s probably better for me anyways to get it out of the way first thing in the day :)
