Best cigar shop in the area. Great atmosphere and great people. My go to cigar shop in the neighborhood

Went in here last week. I paid $ 12 for a pack of Nat Shermans(great cigs, very high quality). Ok price is high but these are high end cigs. Went over to light one up and the clerk asks me please to not smoke! I said what? this is a tobacco shop, I can see the cigar smoke in the air! Yeah, the owner doesn’t like cigarette smoke, the clerk tells me. So, the owner, can fuck off. I will never shop in here again. Not a warm, friendly place.

This is a chill place. Not pretentious at all and if you want to have a smoke and enjoy the game you can. They don’t act like snobs like some of the other places. Tony is the man. They have seating on the front and the back.

Chill place. Small selection of cigarette tobacco but the staff was helpful and there seemed to be quite a few folks chilling out in the lounges.

This place has convinced me that cigar stores are a thing of the past. If you like cigars and you aren’t getting them mail order you really need to check out some web sites. In fairness I did go to the sister store on M St a while back as it was closing down and I got some good deals — sadly this place will also close down within a year. It is not a pleasant place. Their retail model is from 1953, it’s a narrow store, with a bunch of cabinets along the right hand side — not much information, no helpful staff, and, when i was there, the one customer in the lounge(or rather the leather chair next to the door) was bellowing on his cell phone about plumbing fixtures. All the ambience of my uncle Eddie’s attic.
