Went here for a Bianca’s Pizza and a regular cheese pizza. ATMOSPHERE– nice inside… kind of just a one room thing like a regular neighborhood pizzaria… but they have nicer tables than the one pictured in your head. Outside of the place, there are an awful lot of locals just hanging around… which is a bit disconcerting… a turn off mind you. FOOD= The Biancas pizza was very different… the closest thing I can say is it was like a Foccacia with homemade sauce and cheese. Slightly on the sweet side… very good. Cheese pizza was good as well. SERVICE= Friendly enough… but this part kind of had me pieved. I called in an order and was told 25 minutes… which was fine… I came in and they said the Bianca’s pizza was kind of made to order… it will be another 10 minutes(I showed up 20 minutes after I ordered… so a quick math problem later, I showed up 5 minutes early anyway, so an extra five minutes overall isn’t bad). I explain… NP…can I go to the supermarket across the street and I’ll come back and pick it up. He said NP. I go… I come back 15 minutes later… my stuff has to be done right? NO… they decided to give my pizza to another guy who came in so he didn’t have to wait ??? Am I on Mars? So now I have to wait ANOTHER15 minutes. I think this point really ticked me off… I have to admit… at least they were honest… but I had guests waiting at home… and if I wanted to keep waiting… why did I call my order in the first place. Anyway…overall…I guess I can just get«OK» anywhere… and NOT have to wait. Poor customer choices… but I guess if I was the guy who got my pizza… since it was so quick for him… I’d be writing a good reveiw to counter this one.

I don’t know why more people haven’t gone here… Well, nix that, I think it’s because it’s located a bit off the main road and isn’t that visible. Bianca’s is a small Italian place owned by Italian immigrants(or their descendants) and a lot of their food is homemade. My coworker, who is second-generation Italian-American, recommended that I come here. The prices are average but all of their sauces are ridiculously good. The penne with vodka sauce is to die for!!! And they have homemade cavatelli pasta with a marinara and homemade meatballs. They’ll serve the cavatelli with your sauce of choice if tomatoes aren’t your thing and trust me, it goes well with anything! It’s like silk! I haven’t had any of their sandwiches but their pizza is a work of art. It’s just a straightforward, tasty, and fragrant crust and they have a Sicilian pie that’s great too. They also have a specialty Sicilian which I haven’t tried yet, which I will have to sample next time around. Unfortunately, they’re not open on Sundays or Mondays, or I’d be there a lot more often.
