Just went for the first time. It was fantastic. The owner Benjamin, who is extremely nice, lives in my building and I would always ask him what smells so good. He would tell me he brought food home from his restaurant and I should come by. Today I made it and it was even better than I expected. Everything was delicious. I have no complaints whatsoever and Javier the server was very attentive. I highly recommend it. Also they multiple seating options which is nice in the summer– indoors w air, indoor patio which is cooler and then outdoor.

I have been here twice and it is quickly becoming a new favorite when I’m in town. Stumbled upon by accident, this is a great lunch spot! I liked sitting on their enclosed patio and the service was excellent. Food was very good and I highly recommend the chorizo enchiladas. All of the food was freshly prepared. I’m not a fan of the salsa but hey, you can’t win them all. I would also like to note how tasty the coffee was. I often judge places on their coffee and this was fantastic. Both visits I had a different server and the service/quality were excellent. I like to mention this because a restaurant can have good and bad servers. Sometimes you get lucky and consistently have the«good one». I’m under the impression that all of their staff is well trained. Highly recommended.

This new addition to the downtown Bethlehem restaurant scene is a winner. My wife and I enjoy Mexican food and have hit just about all of the notable establishments in Bethlehem and Easton. We had dinner here for the third time on Friday, 4÷22÷16, and brought our neighbors who we dine out with about once a month. Everybody loved their food. The fresh, high quality ingredients really make a great difference. The wait staff is top notch. They were super busy when we were there on Friday(always a great sign) and Benjamin, the owner and manager, was bussing tables, checking on patrons orders and running the show in a very professional manner. Their prices struck us as a bit on the high side at first(for Mexican food) but this is truly a «you get what you pay for» kinda place. It is mid-tier pricing for a dinner out so after a great dinner for 2 including appetizers(we did separate checks with the other couple) our meal came in at $ 50. It is not uncommon for my wife and I to spend $ 80-$ 100 at other places including a few drinks so a $ 50 check, for an excellent meal, is just fine by us. Their ceviche is probably the best I’ve ever had from a restaurant and the presentation of their food obviously matters. It is a BYO place and if you bring your own tequila, they will provide the margarita mix as a complimentary offering. Nice touch! I’m always psyched to see a new restaurant in downtown Bethlehem get off to a great start. It looks like this place has a very bright future on the downtown Bethlehem restaurant scene.

Chips were good but salsa was extremely bland and generic. Was not expecting much after that, but the actual entrées(fajitas) were amazing, maybe the best I’ve ever had! The rice was very flavorful as well. I appreciate that they have a separate vegetarian menu, but wish they would just provide both when you come in instead of having to ask for it. Also wish they had hot sauce or other Mexican style sauces easily accessible. Everything tasted very fresh, staff was friendly and service was very quick. I will definitely return.

Great!!! the steak tacos were very flavorful. I ordered the crunchy flour tacos which were handmade. The steak was cooked perfectly and the guacamole and the Mexican crema were excellent accompaniments. The salsa was chunky and delicious. My only disappointment was the homemade churros. I was expecting a crunch but was I received was three cake like sponges. Totally gross. This is the second time this city has fallen short with my churros. There won’t be a third time.

Amazing food and service! Came here tonight with my parents and was very impressed. The food was authentic, fresh, and so flavorful! Our waiter gave us a sample of their mole, which was amazing. The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. We were greeted by the owner, who couldn’t be nicer, and even gave us dessert on the house. Will definitely be coming back here and recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, quality Mexican food in the valley!

I had dinner at Cilantro last night, the food was sub par for an overpriced Mexican restaurant. The server was efficient but ill trained. Besides paying high prices for mediocre food with no taste, I asked our server for hot sauce to give my meal an added flavor, as it turned out I was charged extra for the hot sauce. I will never go back to this restaurant, small portions, tasteless food and over priced.

The staff was courteous in every way upon our arrival on Saturday nite. The place was packed and it seemed everyone was enjoying themselves. The Guacamole was fantastic, however it could of had some more heat to it. I ordered the fish tacos(3) with a side of rice and beans. The tacos were excellent and so were the black beans. Make sure you ask for the house made hot sauce, it’s en fuego! We finished up with the churro of course and it was delicious as well. This place is fresh and we loved it!!! We will be back, can’t wait!!!

BYO(not sure if there is a corkage fee). Very fresh food, excellent service. Guacamole left a little to be desired. The salad dressing is what my dreams are made of — its a smooth mixture of what tasted like avocado, lime, and cilantro. I would buy this by the bottle if I could!

Eh, it was alright. Went there for lunch and was the only one there. Guacamole was fresh. The beef taquitos were crisp but the shredded beef was lacking in flavor. It almost has an oily consistency. Was actually charged $ 1 for hot sauce. The owner seemed a little annoyed my 2 year old son was my lunch companion. His Mac and Cheese was barilla elbow pasta with white queso sauce. He didn’t eat it because of the jalapeño or green chilies. Maybe I’ll try it again, maybe I’ll won’t.

Good… Cheese enchiladas en mole Much less greasy than typical Friendly front house staff Very fast service Less Good… Take out order was missing an item Salsa is generic Rice was overpowered with garlic Way Less Good… An older man in charge created an extremely bad environment for the staff and it translates to the customers. While waiting for takeout I watched this person question the staff in an accusatory fashion about every transaction. Staff was completely in Deer In the Headlights mode as he stood inches from them and asked details about every encounter. Especially puzzling since he witnessed and could hear everything that occurred. Bottom Line… The food is better than mediocre but can’t overcome the very inept and obnoxious management.

We were trying to find dinner in Bethlehem and this placed popped it. We’re big fans of Mexican and even bigger fans of BYOB. So this was right up our alley. I got the Mole Poblano Chicken and it was fabulous! All the food came out steaming hot, fresh ingredients, and well prepared. We brought a Blue Mountain Vineyards Riesling for dinner and it was the perfect compliment to our dishes. Definitely try the Queso Dip with Chorizo. If it wasn’t tacky I would’ve licked the bowl. Highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

This new and growing place may find it’s place, it is a classy, I don’t expect the college kids in sweatpants to dine here regularly but this will act like a great date night place. If they are able to get a liquor license and keep going, they will definitely contribute to the upscale direction Bethlehem is heading

I stopped down for lunch today because I noticed their selection of soups and it’s been a very long time since I had authentic Pozole. I was greeted by a friendly man and young woman who I had a good conversation with. Definitely a friendly place that’s fits perfectly with the rest of the downtown flow. The soup is flavorful and amazingly fresh. I will be back to this place very soon!

This place was spectacular. My girlfriend and I decided to enjoy the nice December weather and walk up to see what went into the space previously occupied by True Blue Mediterranean Café. The menu was on the front of the building, and looked appetizing, but unfortunately the door said closed Sundays. As we started to walk away a staff member ended up coming out and saying that they were in fact open. We walked in and the décor was similar to True Blue. I for one enjoyed what I saw. The waitstaff who came out previously was our waiter; I believe his name was Javi. Javi was spectacular, simply put. He was professional and catered to us quickly. They served up some tortilla chips in a paper bag, a nice, different touch. We ordered the guacamole which came out looking great. It had a distinct taste that was a little less«sharp» than what I’m used to in guacamole(maybe not as much lemon or tomato, not sure), but it was very good. I ordered the steak burrito, and it likewise came out looking great. They really know their presentation, so if you are into that sort of thing, it is a welcome sight. It was a good size, and came accompanied with rice and a black bean paste. The burrito was delicious as well. The steak had a nice char on it and all ingredients tasted fresh. The sides were good, but not my favorite, but I think that is just personal preference. Towards the end, we had a quick talk with the owner and congratulated him on his new business. He was a very nice man who came by every couple minutes to make sure that our food was good. Overall, this place was great. The waitstaff make it an enjoyable experience, and it’s one of those places you really want to see succeed. Good luck to Cilantro, and we’ll see you guys in the near future!

My biggest issue with cilantro is that they are byo. All I want when I eat Mexican is for a nice large margarita to accompany my food. I don’t want to bring my own bottle of wine or six pack of beer. I’d feel odd coming in with a premade pitcher of margaritas as well. I Ordered the steak tacos. The steak was tough and stringy. My friend got the chicken tacos, which were okay. The guac was good, but the chips were cold and stale when served. The décor also left a lot to be desired. They hadn’t made many modifications to the restaurant since changing it from true blue. The seat cushions were already stained. There wasn’t any fun Mexican décor, the walls were plain white with a few old fashioned pictures. The music didn’t match either, they were playing Edm. Really didn’t make any sense… Overall this place left me thinking ??¿?¿
