I was searching for spanish food and I found this local gem through Unilocal. This place is small but has big flavors. When I normally go to spanish places, I typically order rice and beans, chicken and pork and today was no different. I got white rice, stew pinto beans, stew chicken and pulled pork, along with two beef empanadas. The beans were great, but they were your typical stew pinto beans. The stew chicken was very interesting, the broth had bell peppers, yellow onions and green olives, which complimented the seasoning of the chicken very well. The pulled pork was the B-O-M-B ! Just a heads up, the pork was heavily seasoned with salt, but boy was that thing good. I regret only getting a small portion. The food is excellent and the prices will not hurt your pockets. The wife got the rice and beans with chicken and I got the rice and beans with chicken and pork and two beef empanadas. Also got three twenty ounce sodas for an unbeatable price of $ 28. It don’t even stop at the price, the portions are so large that the wife and I, split my food and we ate her plate for leftovers the next day. The only reason, I didnt give this place 5 stars was I felt a sense of claustrophobia. They had 6 tables that were squeezed in the smallest space available in Bethlehem. Overall this place has officially been added to my family’s dinner rotation.

Oh Man! I wish I could give this 10 stars! This place is awesome!!! First of all, everything is so fresh, homemade and just plain delicious. Between me and hubby, we had the fresh pork with rice and beans(just crazy delicious), beef pastillios(the bomb!), and chiccarones(pure heaven). This is truly authentic homemade Spanish food. I cannot believe I have not been here before! Run, don’t walk, to this place for lunch or dinner! You can’t go wrong!

Delicious!!! The food is wonderful, authentic and plentiful! I highly recommend the pernil(among the best I’ve had). Try also the cerdo, tostones and arroz y habichuelas. The chef/owners are Dominicans and the food tastes as authentic as that on the island. It is a very clean establishment, often packed at lunch. You can call in your order for take out and the menu rotates daily.

D’William is the definition of authentic. I can’t stop thinking about it. I have been here once and I legitimately sometimes find myself thinking about going to D’William.

I echo the previous reviewer in my disappointment at the lack of reviews for this place. I am fault myself for not having written a review previously after having many a delicious meal here. Small, family owned restaurant, 6 – 7 tables to eat in, very homely atmosphere. The food, now thats the real deal, the food here is the real deal! They serve a mix of Dominican and Puerto Rican food. First off, the food is displayed in a glass case near the counter, go take a look, drool and order. 1 $ empanadas! Yes! The marinated chicken, beef or the pizza empanada! Absolutely delicious and for one dollar! Get a few, or maybe a dozen of them. Try their Mofongos(Fried plantain mash with pork) if you are looking for something very authentic. And their Pernil(deep roasted pork) is a must have for those who love fatty, falling off the bone, delicious meat. The skin is crispy, the meat, seasoned perfectly, delectable, soft and simply… well just good! After that get their yellow rice or white if you want, and chicken/pork curry. Their meat is absolutely awesome tender, juicy, fatty in a sauce, a tomato based spicy deliciousness that will titilate your senses. Wash down your food with some cream soda or inca cola or maybe their freshly made fruit juices. Its simple food in its delicious best. And the prices are ridiculously low. A meal for two(3 empanadas, pernil, chicken curry, pork curry, two orders of yellow rice, 2 sodas) was 22 $!!! Yes not a typo. 22 $!!! Need I say more?!

I am legitimately upset there are not more reviewers or pictures for this place. If I didn’t absolutely truck my plate of steak, rice, beans and tostones Id’ve been an automatic contributor. I wish there were places like this in Philly, I told the owner straight up this place is amazing. I got an enormous portion of splendid marinated steak and I shared it with my girlfriend, two sodas, 11.00 are you kidding me? Unreal. Not only that, it was good. I love this type of spanish food. I guess it’s Dominican. I never tried the Pernil but I could clearly see from the neighboring tables that it would have been an optimal choice. Dollar empanadas say no more. I’ll be back, and seriously, please open something like this near Philly. I don’t want to have to wait for Muskiest again!

Great Spanish food and very nice service. Owner on location and making sure at all time the quality and service are up to par. Welcoming environment for non Spanish speakers makes it a plus.

Oh, My! This place was a find… on the East side of Bethlehem, on Linden Street which is one way. I have now been here a couple times, and some of the food is REALLY good. A lot of it looks standard for dominican/caribbean fare — the half-circle dough stuffed with meat(empanadas?), the boiled and fried plantains, beef stew, pulled pork, fried pork belly, red rice, etc. I have tried the beef stew with rice/beans and it was very good. Last time I was in, I had the chicken stew with a fried rice(with tiny bits of pork), and I have to say this was one of the BESTTHINGS I HAVEEATENIN A VERYLONGTIME. Every bite, I was saying«Holy Cow is this good!» I would take a drink in between bites so I could taste each one fresh… it was downright amazing. The only bugger about this kind of food is that they chop up the meat very ‘rough’ so there are bones in many of your bites, so be careful chewing. Other than that, ENJOY this place… it is really good!

The food here has a lot of flavor. I recommend the bieste con tostones. The perniel is also very good. I flew all the way from San Diego California to have some authentic Puerto Rican food.
