The whole staff at Ideal Image in Bethlehem are extremely friendly, professionally skilled and have extensive knowledge in the cosmetic field. They take as much time as you need to understand your concerns. The medical staff aims to please, allowing time for questions without ever feeling rushed and they give honest feedback regarding recommendations to meet your needs. The «bedside manner» and experience that I had there have given me reason to return for further treatments when needed. I am also very thrilled with my results! Once you go there, you will not go anywhere else.

I have been coming to Ideal Image in Bethlehem for over a year now from NJ to get my bikini and underarms treated. Every visit has been pleasant and every staff member I’ve ever come into contact with has been very nice. They are very accommodating as well. A couple of times I arrived late for my appointment yet they found a way to fit me in, which I was always very grateful for, as the location is not local for me. The reception area is always clean and welcoming and the treatment rooms and bathrooms are always clean as well.
I’ve been very happy coming to Ideal Image for my laser hair removal. It is truly wonderful to not have to worry about shaving treated areas. I was fortunate to see excellent results in the first 1 – 3 treatments. I’m now nearing the end of my treatments (9 total) and am very satisfied with the whole experience.

My sister had been to the Ideal Image in Las Vegas, NV and was extremely happy with the results (bikini). So, when they opened an office in the Lehigh Valley, I made an appointment. If I was going to spend the money, I wanted to make sure I went somewhere that I knew I could trust. My sister wished she had done all areas from the beginning and suggested that I just do it, so I don’t have to worry about going back at a later time, so I did. I’m very happy with the results. Just after the first visit alone, my life was so much easier to not have to worry about shaving all the time. I’m almost done with the treatments now and I wish I would. could have done it years ago. As for the office and the employees, they are wonderful! I have complete trust in all of them and they are so nice and make you feel comfortable. The treatments do hurt for a second, but then goes away immediately… and when you don’t have to shave anymore, you know it was worth the little zaps. :) So glads they opened an office here!

I’d been saving up money to get laser hair removal for a while before I went in for a consultation at Ideal Image in Bethlehem. I knew I was a good candidate for treatment because I have fair skin and dark hair. I heard on the radio that they were having a 50% off special, and I was ready to sign on if the consultation went well.
When I arrived, I was impressed by the office. The woman at the desk was very polite and even offered me soda or water. I filled out some paperwork, and by the time I was done I was called in for my consultation.
The saleswoman was also very polite and easy to talk to. Body hair can be a sensitive topic, but I felt comfortable explaining what I wanted treated. I’d say everything was going well until the topic of price came up.
The two areas I wanted to have done initially (with the idea that I’d save up and go for more if I was pleased with the results) were my thighs and bikini, because shaving leaves me with painful and unsightly razor burn. One treatment for «upper leg,» knees and up, was $ 1078. One treatment for bikini (with no cheaper option to only do your bikini line rather than the whole area) was $ 923.
Ideal Image also requires that you get 9 treatments. This surprised me because in my research I had found that most people only require 6 to 8 treatments to get their desired effect. Laser hair removal can’t guarantee that anyone will have zero hair after treatment, so I didn’t see why 9 treatments were required. What if I was happy after 6?
Total cost? Over $ 16,000. Even with the 50% special, it would have run me just over $ 8,000.
As expected, the saleswoman got a little pushier when I expressed my dismay over the cost. She explained that they offer financing and that I would have gotten a special gift if I signed up that day. She was just doing her job, though. I might have fallen for it if I hadn’t done my research.
My second choice was a dermatologist’s office, where a real doctor would do my treatments and it was significantly cheaper. I could get 9 treatments of the same areas for $ 6000 (before package deals and or any discounts which make it even cheaper), and there is no obligation to do 9 treatments. I’ve done three treatments so far with great results (I shave about once every 10 days instead of every day), so I’m thinking about switching to lower legs for my next few treatments.
Moral of the story, do your research. If you can afford Ideal Image, it seems like they’d be great. The people were professional and the office was very nice. If you want something more affordable, though, there are other options.
