Mike and Ike Bistro at Steel Stacks

This is more a snack bar and part of ArtQuest’s SteelStacks. They try to have high quality looking food options for the artsy crowd but to be honest, stick with the traditional snack bar foods… Popcorn, pretzels, ice cream. I have tried their meals but have never been really happy. This time I had a mild Italian sausage sandwich, according to their menu they are «sausage experts», this is far from the truth. The sandwich was in a roll that was so stale it immediately fell apart in my hands and the sausage left much to be desired. It was dry and bland yet spicy. They do have good homemade kettle chips that come with the sandwich but I was definitely disappointed and hungry afterwards as I did not finish it.
