Sad to see this place closing. I stopped in a couple of days before they were set to and there wasn’t much left. The things that were left were cute but it a huge selection. I love the name of the store which was the original reason I made an effort to stop here.

I was very put off by the snooty responses I received. We live in 2015 where an average 35 to 50 year old no longer wears size 1 or 2. Not to mentioned very high priced. I wouldn’t even recommend to my stick figure friends.

Love the clothing here, really can’t stand the attitude of the employee’s. I was a Moravian student at the time and I came to Sophistikate to find a dress for my cousin’s wedding. I don’t remember the name of the woman who was there that day, but she was incredibly rude to my friend and I. She ignored us for most of the time we shopped and went out of her way to be nice to other clients who walked in, I’m assuming because I was dressed to do errands. I may be a college student and I may have looked less than put together that day but I had money and was ready to buy something nice. Eventually, she came over to us and suggested we go across the street if we wanted any sale items. Naturally, I took my business elsewhere and won’t be returning again.

Love the store. Perfect fit for downtown bethlehem. Décor is classy and clean — The clothing is different and its something you wont be able to buy at the mall which is great. Will be back to check out new season clothing and recommend you all come check this unique store out and Kate is very friendly and will tell you what looks good on you!

Very fairly priced designer labels in a beautiful boutique setting. Like all boutiques, I go inside and wonder«could anyone really buy their entire wardrobe here?» Me thinks not. But they did have many beautiful pieces — everything from Nicole Miller dresses to Cosabella underthings, I think it’s a great place to go if you are looking for something different or special. Plus the woman working there this afternoon was very friendly & didn’t seem to mind that I was there to browse today, not really to buy. I didn’t see a lot that would be work appropriate for me, but I did see plenty of things that I would love for weekends or dates.

I have finally found a great place to shop in the LV! I’m really new to the area and spent the day bumming around in downtown Bethlehem over the weekend. Was so thrilled when I saw their beautifully arranged, minimalist windows. The clothes in here are pricey, but quality. While I am a huge fan of Ann Taylor… I am so excited to have come across a place that has classy, elegant clothes without the mass-merchandising labels. They had this BEAU-TI-FUL black belted jacket outside of the store. I had to try it on, I was really sad that it didn’t fit. Would have been a bit of a splurge, but it was a classic piece. The owner was there and it was so great to hear that she tries to purchase minimal amounts of impressive pieces so not everyone has the same thing. I thought that was really nice. You can find everything from blue jeans and well-made T-shirts, to cocktail dresses and beautiful accessories and purses crafted from Italian leather. I can’t wait to go back again in a couple of weeks when my family is in town over the holidays.

While they don’t currently have men’s clothing, I am true lover of fashion and can appreciate this up and coming boutique in downtown. I decided to stop in and check out the place for myself as a fashion snob and I wasn’t disappointed… they carry Charlotte Tarantola, need I say more? They have the laid back feel of Bethlehem while trying to bring high fashion of the city. Are they the next Barney’s? Of course not, but they also aren’t trying to be. They focused on a niche market here the Valley for those of us thirsting for fashion and unheralded designers that don’t get enough recognition. Definitely a breath of fresh air for this area. I have bugged them about men’s clothing, so we shall see I suppose! Finally, we can toss aside the pathetic but ever popular Sage… what a joke. Thank you for showing the valley the ‘light’. Good luck my dear Kate, I for one want to see this boutique succeed. Won’t lie… a Sushi/Champagne lounge would have rocked though…(haha for those insiders that live in downtown and pay attention to things) Ciao Bella!

No need to drive down to Philly anymore ladies to do your label shopping — between here, Loose Threads and Popmart the Valley’s got you covered. Sophistikate is a wonderful addition to downtown Bethlehem and the Lehigh Valley as a whole. Lots of high end labels in a sophisticated urban setting. Tons of womens clothes for nightlife, home and work. I had to tear myself away before I did some serious damage to my credit card. Friendly woman who was there must have been Kate and she is often accompanied by a little chihuahua who is equally well dressed. RUN there!
