The View Inn and Suites

I recently stayed a night at the view inn, and for the price everything was fine. The room was clean, a little out dated but it served its purpose. The free breakfast in the morning was surprisingly decent. It was a buffet style with many choices. For the price I would definitely stay there again. You get what you paid for.

It obviously is great because it’s so cheap, and it’s a little drive to Sands. That’s why we chose this place. The room wasn’t dirty, it was clean. The bathtub was amazing, I wish I could have taken a picture of it. It had a seat as well as grooves as shelves. I can’t really explain it, but I wish it was mine!
The sink was outside of the bathroom. The lighting wasn’t very good. There is a huge mirror in the room that was actually on the door of the sliding closet. The free breakfast was terrible, disgusting, but they did have great creamer choices from Hershey.
Nothing really bad to say about the place, but it was nothing special. It was fine to me!

My stay at the View Inn was the stuff of nightmares. In the early morning hours I was kept awake by some knuckleheads down the hall who appeared to be high on something. They were constantly going in and out, slamming the door while laughing loudly and yelling, mainly beating the f-​word to death. When I asked them to quiet down they laughed at me and continued their jerky behavior. I brought this to the attention of the desk clerk, who said he would keep an eye on them. About 15 minutes later, a couple of the idiots got into a drug-​induced shouting match which turned into a lame fistfight in the hall outside their room. The desk clerk came and told them the police would be called if they did it again. My question is why these losers weren’t booted out of the motel at this point. For most of the night they continued their nonsense in less physical style, with more yelling and door-​slamming. So needless to say, my sleep was basically non-​existent.
As what at this point is just an afterthought, the facility is fairly nice and the room was actually quite decent. But the management’s policy of handling noisy nitwits with tendencies toward comic violence with kid gloves insures that I would never consider staying there again.

I am local to the area but needed a spot to take my dogs while we’re having some renovation done on our house. The cost of a hotel that takes pets was enormous. I was thrilled when I found the View Inn & Suites right down the road from me. It’s a privately owned hotel, as far as I can tell, and the front desk staff was nice both times I called. I just needed the room for the day, not overnight, so I called ahead to see if they could give me a room early in the day – and they were great about doing so.
The rooms aren’t fancy, but when you have pets, it’s ideal. It’s also very reasonable to stay here – I paid a little less than $ 80 (USD) for the room, plus the pet fee, which was also very reasonable: $ 15/​pet/​night. They were very accommodating, the rooms include breakfast, and the staff was very nice.
There’s ample room to potty your dog, and the rooms are clean. There are also refrigerators in each room along with a microwave.
I could not have been happier. Highly recommend for those traveling with pets or who need a reasonably priced hotel for the night.

I recently stayed at The View Inn and found the room to be very clean and very well furnished. It was a great value in September on a weekend for $ 65.
Once again, I am forced to expose a review that if I were management I would sue the pants off this guy, poster «Dylan F», his review was posted 3 months ago. His full name is believed to be Dylan F. Roden of Needham Heights, MA. His review is littered with inconsistencies.

He states he is greeted by a slow checkin, the printer is not working, and the internet not working. What printer is not working? There are no printers in the room. How would he know the internet is not working if he had not arrived into his room where the wi-​fi code is located?
He states…

«The bed did look clean though so I thought „so long as the bed is clean“. I get some emails done and go out to get dinner, return to the room and the door to outside right at my room doesn’t lock so members of the public are free to come on in and walk around the hotel through a side door… Handy!»
So he walks into a filthy room with wallpaper hanging off the walls where he wouldn’t touch anything, but then states «I get some emails done»! How interesting. The internet is inoperative yet he is emailing.
He then states…
«As I stand in the bathroom brushing my teeth I see something on the ceiling behind me, a friend! I didn’t know I would be sharing. The little brown guy had come out of the gap in the ceiling tiles and his little cockroach buddies were all walking around on the ceiling. I politely left them to the bathroom, they were there before me after all, and I went in to the bedroom. The ceiling in the bedroom is the same cheap ceiling tiles and there are gaps in them so I assume my new friends could join me in the bedroom should they get bored of hanging out in the bathroom. I took a closer look around the room and one corner there was evidence of an encounter with a larger cockroach, one very large leg was visible and something based on to the baseboard and carpet.»
Look closely at the pictures this guy provided. He shows a picture where the wall is peeling, however, not one photograph of any of his «little cockroach buddies» that were walking all around on the ceiling”!
In the next picture he shows a purported picture of a ceiling where «there was evidence of an encounter with a larger cockroach, one very large leg was visible and something based on to the baseboard and carpet» His description is extremely suspect. He shows a picture of the ceiling and what is purportedly the leg but then states its based on the baseboard and carpet! Again, not one picture of the many roaches he saw.
He then states…
«Swiftly my bag was repacked, it was 2am at this point, I called the main desk. I told them the room was full of roaches and they couldn’t have been any less interested. I asked if they had another room and they reluctantly said yes. I asked if the hotel sprays for roaches and the guy sighed and mumbled something I couldn’t quite understand. I told him to forget it. I arrived at the lobby and gave the guy my room keys and he said nothing. I thanked him for the wonderful customer care and left.»
What a crock of lies. Apparently he never noticed one roach before sending the emails on the internet that didn’t work in the totally filthy room before he went to dinner. Then, at or around 2AM, hours later, he calls the desk and asks for another room. But asks if they spray for roaches; and doesn’t like the answer and then gives the clerk «the keys» (without asking for a refund) and leaves.
Folks, there is something very wrong with this «Dylan F» review. This guy has lots of explanations to provide-​perhaps to a jury in a slander case if I were management.

Nice, clean hotel. Prices a bit better than a lot of the hotels in the area. Check in was quick and painless. The girl who checked us in seemed in a bit of a bad mood and there were a couple of stray hairs in the shower but otherwise it was a nice place. Just a heads up though, if you want the breakfast in the morning get there early. We got down around 8:00 and it was pretty much wiped out.

I need a bed and the room to be clean… Anyway… The halls smell like someone has been spraying lots of air freshener to mask a smell or something. The room is filthy. A few miles away at the days hotel (I thought they just had days inn motels??) near the airport I was greeted by a very nice guy who got me checked in and was very friendly. The room is really clean and hotel is quiet.
My overriding memory of the view inn and suites — there was no view! AND the slothish lady who checked me in told me about their breakfast and said it was served until 930 but be there by 9 with a scowl on her face. Could you imagine eating anything in this dump??? I wouldn’t let me dogs walk in to this place never mind eat or sleep there.
PS: if this slumtel disagrees with anything I have said I can post pictures of your insect guests that were in my room and sheets of wallpaper rolling off the walls, try me.

Inexpensive, great place! $ 35 on a weeknight, through Hotwire. Score!!! It was nice, clean, friendly service, etc. About 50 channels on the TV including HBO but not Bravo or Comedy Central. Free wifi and I didn’t have any problems with it. The room was on par with Holiday Inn and the like.
I’m pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke, mold smells, etc, and had no problems in my room. They serve a free breakfast until 9 AM on weekdays, but I missed it because of the Daylight Savings Time switch a couple days before.

This is a very convenient inn, and the service is so good, the receptions are very kind and the room is clean & warm.
It will be a smart choice.
PS, even they just update the wifi, but in the first floor L, there is only one wifi signal, please check it and improve.

The «non-​smoking» room smelled like cigarettes. The hotel was very noisey. The rooms are outdated. The bathroom was tiny. I reserved a room with a king size bed and they gave me a room with 2 small double beds. Upon arrival the hotel only booked me for 1 night, even though I reserved and paid for 2 nights. The front desk lady was very rude. I asked for a plastic fork, she threw her clipboard down, huff and puffed, rolled her eyes and walked away without saying anything. NEVER will stay here again. I check out at 1:30am the same day I checked in and drove 2 hours back home. It was that bad.
